As the song goes learning to love yourself is the greatest love of all. Im not being narcissistic but rather i wanted my fellow mylotters to share what they consider is their greatest asset. We are more aware with our flaws than pay attention to the gifts God has given us. What i like about myself is that i am independent. I dont rely on other people to do things on my behalf. What about yours? It is about time we praise our self for the person we have become.

What I liked about myself is that I learn from the experience of others, I am a very well disciplined person, I am so focused with what I am doing. I'm also independent. Above all God gave me a great mind.

It. Is nce to hear that you know your faculties because sometimes people tend to forget that because of all the insecurities they have.

I think the compassion for other peoples feelings and for the feelings of animals I think is my best asset and maybe my common sense which I give credit to my parents for.

i am very simple and like all natural be to in attitude and with nature. i go with the flow and live in peace as much as possible i avoid argument but in debate i get more knowledge. though, most of the time those debate were just form of friendly exchanges of opinion. i do not like to wear too much make up as it make me feel uneasy and when i look at the mirror it look like another person. i am friendly and most of time know to decide between right and wrong. also, i choose friend who are not a bad influence but the one who could inspire.

Thanks for sharing a part of who you are. It is always good to introspect sometimes so that we will be able to know in which area we need to improve to become a better person and develop more our strengths.

hi dazzledlady
The biggest asset that I have is my life. Which has trained me, showed me and made me realize so many things out on this planet as awesome. Despite me being ill for life, confined to stay indoors, it has taught me to value it more and cherish each second that I get to live.
I think, this makes my life more important and more bigger an asset than anything else.

I'm independent as well. I have a really unique mind and I like that. I don't really learn in the same fashion that others learn, so maybe I might not be as much of as assistance to others (especially when trying to explaining something), but I find that I can teach myself a lot of things.

I would have to say my greatest asset would be that I am a strong willed person I don't give up on something if I know I am right, or that I didn't get an explanation that was acceptable.
over the years I have had to fight for my kids so they could get the help they needed...

It is good to make a stand and stick to it if it is the right thing to do. You're a good parent.

hi dazzledlady I think I have fou nd that what I like about myself is when things were horribly grim and the only thing we could do was to p ut me in this tiresome retirement center as my son haqd lost his job and we both used up what saving we had trying to keep the apt rent upo got behind, so in a flash we were evicted. we had an onolien friend,uh yeshmaybe friend, who declared she wou ld stake us
to rent for three moths on an apt in A ntioch California where her sister lived. but whem it came time for us to take possions of the rental sh e had phoned the manager and had him tear up the agreement she had signed so we were then truly homeless. I felt so sad and yet I was not giving up and I would not cry. things got worse as the truck my son rented was not big enough to get all our belonging in 'and what was worse, he had rented too small a storage place. so evicted, lost half our belongings, and no money, I cam here and have been here for 3 years. its a haven not home
b ut a haven and I likl that I am a survivor.I did not crumble, I did not cry,I did not lost my temper, but I survived. I am here in one piece 85 and feelin gpretty good.my son finally has an almost full time job,is living in a rooming house not too far from me.He comes to see me every week. so we are getting bye and we survived.I did not ever think I would have the strength or courage to go through all that and not fall apart but I did
so I am a survivor.

I admire you for not crumbling down. You are indeed a survivor. Trial do come our way and will test our limits. I am glad you and your son is recovering well. Go bless!

What I like about myself is that I don't like to burden others. Besides I am proud of myself being more willing to be of help to others. For me, losing things means nothing provided that others get benefit from it.

What I think about myself is that I wanted to be more confident with my own styles and own personalities. I also wanted to be unique and simple. I am not saying to try hard to this things that I wanted because those are my attitudes that I am showing to all people around me. There are times that I also push people away because I want to think of all the wrong things that I have done with my family and friends. There's an attitude that my best friend notice about me that I didn't speak for the whole day. The reason is that I feel depressed or stressed.

Hmmm, this is a tough one for me. I guess I have to say all of me, everything in me that makes me uniquely me. All of it, the good, the bad, the ugly. I love me as me and I have accepted all about me. If I will change for the better, then I'm cool with it.

My favorite thing about myself is my ability to empathize with just about anyone. We don't even have to discuss what's going on, I just seem to have this intuition that I know what other people are feeling. I almost never tell the other person or anyone else that I know, but sometimes months, even years later I almost always end up being right. I love this because it allows me to see the beauty every person I encounter, and it's virtually impossible to hate anyone. The less hate we have in our hearts, the happier lives we will lead, so I feel that this really benefits me in every aspect of life.
