I bought a broken phone from one of my friends he said it was my fault when I did not know about the inside I told him it was a scam and he just said it was my fault for buying it when I had no idea I believe it is hist fault as a virtual seller for not mentioning anything about the internals If you are selling a broken phone and its missing most of the parts its not an phone at all is it? I was buying an phone with all of the pieces in it,but he still considers it as my fault I am talking to him now,but we are just arguing if it is my fault or his he wont give me my money back for it ohhhhhhhh~

in reality your friend is not really a friend but not really honest so normally when you buy something online the seller must describe the object completely so about external conditions but also if there are some issues naturally not all are honest and so you can face this problem unluckly!

In my opinion that is not a real friend at all. Freinds dont scam other friends. You have learned the hard way im afraid. Just make sure that from now on you get a writen agreement but the biggest thing is to make sure it works before you by something weather it is from friends family or someone you dont now. Im sorry you had to learn the wrong way but most of lifes best leasons learned are from experene. Hope everythign works out for you.

For me, your friend should issue a refund to you if you decide to return the item considering that he failed to supply you the intact item. You could argue to him on whether the item he sent to you was not broken when he shipped them but in the end it's going to be your word against his. He could always claim that it was working when it went to the post office/shipment delivery offices. It is really best to buy on trusted online sites and also get to read reviews prior to purchasing the items. I had also experienced purchasing online onetime where I was not able to receive the item. I kept on following up the seller but he kept on saying that he has already shipped the item. The item never reached me. Good thing, the item was not that expensive so I just charged it to experience. :-(

i will say in my opinion i think you were both wrong..... yes he should have tols u if he knew it didnt work and of course he did. it is possible to sue him but without a written agreement or ne thing i am not sure a judge can do much about it unless he admits to knowing the phone was like that or the judge realises that obviously he had to know. as a buyer u probly should have made it mandatory for the phone to b charged before you went to buy it so you could turn it on yourself and see if it worked. even if the phone is not active on a plan it is still possible to turn it on and c if most everything worked. if the phone was like you say it ws it would have been impossible to even turn it on and he would refuse or whatever. if i am going to buy something like that i am going to make sure that it is in working condition before i waste my time and/or my money on it...

If he did not tell you it was broken before you bought it, then you do have rights. You can look up consumer laws in your area. It can help you get your money back, and you may want to make sure he knows that. It was not your job to ask if he was being honest with you, it was his job to tell you it was broken.
