Hi everyone... Just give a look on the picture added. It is a cover of a book post sent to me by PETA asking me to submit a petition, and i will. It was written there that "countless individual animals including rabbits, guinea pigs, mice and rats are being abused, tormented and painfully killed in laboratory tests for eyeliner, shampoo and other cosmetics and household products." The animals die with agony by force feeding increasing amounts of detergent, eyeshadow or other products and are poisoned to death. Animals who receive highest doses can suffer from severe abdominal pain, diarrhea, convulsions, seizures, paralysis and bleeding from the nose....... So, unconsciously you are killing them brutally. Share your views. N.B... Do you wish to raise the voice against animal cruelty?

I'm glad you support PETA. I think that cruelty against animals in one of the worst chapters in human history, a chapter that urgently needs to be closed. I try to help the animals around me who are threatened indirectly by the effects of human misbehavior in nature. I take my hat off to organisations that try to fight against animal cruelty. Sometimes they risk a lot, like being detained or injured. There even is a group that is fed up with what's happening to animals and who take direct action, http://directaction.info/ , I recently read an article about them in democracynow.org . Although there are some activities I won't support (like arson where they may cause damage to what they want to protect) I see and understand why they are doing it.

Thanks friend. yes, if you read my latest discussions then will get that i have raised several topics on Human cruelty towards wildlife and even pets. I have rescued birds, mammals and reptiles many times as i am an animal activist but dont know why some people show too much cruelty to animals and prove that they are the worst creature in the world having a brain(?). I have not heard about your said organization( surely i shall give a look on your link) but here i am associated with some small but active groups and organizations. Have a nice time.

I'll check out your discussions, it's good to know that the number of people who are concerned about animals is growing. As for me, I'm relatively new to the subject. Some three years ago I became a vegetarian. When I bought my camcorder I took a closer look at animals, especially at birds and I began to realize the beauty and innocence of those flying creatures. Now I'm reading books about animals, I wouldn't have done so years ago because I lacked interest. But the more I read the more I feel the need to do something to protect them with the scarce means being at my disposal. It's really a shame how many species have already been exterminated due to human interference.

Hi friend.. Nice to hear that you are also interested to wildlife and specially birds. You are always welcomed if you need any helps from me as i am associated with all these from years. Although my profession is something differ from wildlife, nevertheless i roam around with my cameras to meet all those beautiful creatures. Now i am learning ornithology. It is very sad that many species are already disappeared or existing a few for the human torture. I like to mention that porcupine, pangolin, Indian civet are almost disappeared from my province. When i was a kid i saw them and now it is years that i have not seen them around. Have a nice time.

It would've been better if PETA included a list of those cosmetic companies that are either using animals as their test subjects or had hired private laboratories to do the testing for them. Look at any cosmetic product and none would include that they used animals for testing. Obviously they wouldn't since it would be bad for their business. If there's a list, consumers would know what or what not to buy. And there's a possibility that people would no longer buy cosmetic products because they might assume every company engages in this cruelty to animals.

They have already listed out and if you wish then you can visit PETA. http://www.peta.org/issues/animals-used-for-experimentation/animal-testing-101.aspx They have already made an agreement with UGC( University Grant Commission) where UGC has declared not to animal dissection and experimentation on Universities and colleges here and basically in Zoology and Life science departments. Actually there are enough herbal medicines which should be used and can be instead of animals. Have a nice time.

It would've been even better if PETA sent around pictures of all the healthy animals they've slaughtered instead of trying to rehome them. It'd be even better if they explained where their profits go to. Do you have a pet in your household that you love with all your heart? PETA would love to kill that animal because no person should have a pet. They're all nuts.

of course, i am an animal lover even those chicken which is raise in my backyard i could not eat them as i develop closer connection with them when those animals show some adorable traits.to them. even cats, dogs and any animal subject to abuse have no voices. the one who serve as there voices which been unheard fro a long time is human. only like us or me as no one would sympathize with there flight unless every human are sensitive so they may feel pity to the pain the animals suffer from countless laboratory experiment. to think there should be regulation until they get totally banned or stop animals abuse in whatever forms.

hi friend.. Glad to hear that you are an animal lover and i am also an animal activist. It is very barbaric to torture all those mute animals on various field ... from butcher to slaughter house... from bull fighting to hunting... from laboratory treatment to ginipig. yes, there should be some regulation. Here in Indian animal rights are implemented but i dont know why type of implementation is this where as lots of animals are writhing in laboratories. have a nice time.

Of course on the surface PETA appears to be a wonderful champion for the animal kingdom. Personally, I don't like how they treat people. They spend your money tell people who are over weight they are fat slobs prying on and ingesting innocent pigs and cattle! I spend my donation dollars on those who cannot provide for themselves! One of those is my autistic son. I know exactly where my money is spent and that it provides only goods and services to people that need. Sorry, it's just my opinion.

Hi shibham That's really sad. I have no information about that. I surely didn't know that they are doing this for making product like shampoo... Do you think every such product belongs to such cruelty.. Then its surely too bad and I would surely like to contribute something against this.

Hi anand bhai... Nope, not every product. There are some certain products where those animals are tested and left them to bear a terrific life. Thanks that you wish to contribute. I will talk to you later regarding contribution. have a nice time.

I think this news is already know since over 40 years. So not really hot news anymore. It depends on the country where you live how active these labs are, if they coƶperate with others and in which way these test be done. BTW also tests are done on human beings, in some cases you get payed for that. Personally I think there will always be cases where you have to test things before you use them. Medication is one of them (frequently tested here on human beings). But this doesn't mean there should be guidelines how to test or how to handle an animal if you don't test on them. This besides of the fact that many animals have a terrible life and are sold as pets after these tests (handicaped for life). For the rest I strongly believe that governments can change a lot too. there is no need for each factory to do each test alone they can coƶperate. And if it comes to the consument.. be aware of what you use, there are plenty of things you can buy/use which are not tested on animals at all or no longer tested. The fact it's something new doesn't mean it's better.

Hi dear... It may be a news of 40 years old but what about the actions? It is still running and testing in laboratories. I have been informed that this test is still existing in several countries and mainly on first world countries and even at NASA. So? Here the picture added is telling how terrific tortures they have been suffering. The blind rabbit will not get his eyes anymore and no one is thinking to donate him eyes. who has given the right to make him blind? It is true that all labs are not testing them and all products are not made that way. basically i can say about herbal products. have a nice time.

This has been going on for so long and it is really sad. I am always really happy when I see on products that they do not test products on animals. What makes it even more unnecessary is when they force feed them detergent. we know ingesting detergent is not good so we must not do it ourselves and keep it out of childrens reach. why make animals ingest it when we know it is bad. Its pretty much common sense that tells us not to ingest it. I dont think we really need to know what will happen to a little animal if it drinks detergent.

Hi shaggin. You are right. The testing has been doing from years and although some laws were introduced but implementations are not seen properly. It is better to use herbal products instead of them and basically you females can bring it to action. Not only detergent but also they are poisoned several ways and i have send some links on previous page and you may give a look, if wish. have a nice time.

I think that the abuse of animals as the cost of shampoos and cosmetics is a shame. Surely by now there is enough shampoo and such in the world that is known to be safe to people.

This is really brutal.. Laboratory should not be tested in animals. They should be tested to theirselves. For the animals has no benefits at all to the products they will be selling in the long run.

It's very sad. They have been testing since many many years, hopefully one day we can really end this. There are many companies that don't test on animals and they have logos and signs of it on their products. You have to look hard, but something we can do to not support this cruelty against animals. Actually, medicines are tested on people, too. It's not easy to live a cruelty-free life. Like palm oil is commonly used in natural products and counts as a healthy ingredient. But I read that rainforests are destroyed and endangered orangutans are killed because more space is needed for palm oil plantations.

Hi almond... from many years animals have been suffering a lot in cages and laboratories. It is true that there are also some companies which are not testing animals as they use alternative. You are right that medicine are tested on people but i have not ever heard that people becomes blind due to torment. Sometimes a person may be blind for over dose or other issues. It is also sad but i think there were some options too. Have a nice time.

This is quite hard. If we look at it using morality, I would say that it is really forbidden. It's a direct and big NO to animal abuse. But if we look at it in a realistic way, it was given a lot of human beings to survive from using products that were first tested on animals. So, I'm really in conflict right now.
