What do you do during hot days?

We usually stay inside watching tv with of course the a/c on. Or we'll go into the basement which is even cooler and turn the a/c on the main floor down so we conserve on power. Otherwise we do go outside swimming or get a sprinkler going but not until later in the day, high noon is too dangerous of a time with the intensity of the sun.

hot season are so annoying i get a sticky sweat even the blowing coming from the fan is so hot

I'd stay downstairs since it's hotter upstairs or maybe chill in an air conditioned place or stay in the bathroom for hours since I don't have time for swimming for now.

I wear light clothes and usually take a nap after lunch if it´s too hot as I feel drowsy. I don´t have air conditioner, but I don´t really need it. Our climate is not humid so there´s never a sticky hot sort of weather.

i love badmiton, i have a huge back yard to play in, i also like cornhole, and tennis, hmm what do i like to do on a hot day ? i love to take walks on a hot sunny day, or go swimming, the good cold water feels great on a hot sunny day... i like to take rides in our truck, with the window down, taking in the fresh blowing air, i like to ride my bike on a sunny day, but i no longer have it, i gave it to my best friends daughter for christmas this year... she needed it more then me... but we live close so if i ever want to ride it, i just ask... i like to go the the park on a sunny day as well... i like to swing in the swings, i go to a local school, there they have lots of equipment for the kids to play on including swings that i can sing on.. i love to get ice cream on a hot sunny day, i espically love pineapple sundays, we love to grill out on a sunny afternoon.. or have a picnic, i love going out to yard sales on a bright sunny day.. or even having my own yard sale.. i do hate to sleep when its hot outside, i sleep better on a cold winters day.. usually on a hot night , i just sleep with a sheet on, and ditch the covers, unless we crank the air and then it can get good and cold and i sleep much better

sleeping or sink in my bathroom with water! I never go to swim, as under the sun, the water is hot too !:(

It is winter in my conuntry,the spring is coming in one month.And I have made my plan in the coming summer,I will learn swimming.

good day, what can i say, even it is not yet summer, the weather dictates it. as the heat and hot feeling really approaches so quick. wishing that i have an air conditioning unit so i can turn it on during mid-days. but, what to do, i don't have any so i am just using electric fans to give me at least a cool air. well, with that of your query, i used to stay at home during summer except when my friends or some family members invites me to go out for an outing like swimming.

Hello, sunny hot days or a cold days are equal for me. I am shopkeeper. So in every weather I have to open my shop to earn. God give us power to tolerate every weather. In summer temprature in my area remain nearby 45 to 50 degree.

Yeah summer is coming, it just seemed like it just left us. Funnily enough how that works, how time just rather flies rather quickly. More quickly than one could ever imagine to say the very least. Then again, there was not much of a winter. Not saying that is a bad thing, as the moderately comfortable temperatures were far better than the frigid insanity that I had dealt with in seasons past. If it gets really hot, the air conditioning goes on. Its just that simple I spent the first twenty years of my life suffering in the heat, which I’m sure has aged me about twenty more years other than that in some degree. If somehow the air conditioner does break down, let’s say, a nice ice cold bath would be a good way. A cool drink as well and a nice fan or two. Just staying out of the sun whenever possible would be the ultimate goal.

I would choose to stay at home and enjoy the coolness that air-conditioner brought to me.lol,i feel lazy especially in hot days.Plus,exercise is also a great way to release and also go for a shower,it's really comfortable.

i'd go to mall with my son and do window shopping or have zip of cold fruit shake. hot temperature annoys me especially if i'm in the office. i've experienced being annoyed the other week my boss hide the remote control of the air conditioner. lolz

Watch movies or my personal favorite, go swimming! A cold pool and lemonade is the perfect remedy to a hot day- and you get exercise!

Well, I go to places where it is cool, or I put on the air conditioner, but only if it is really hot. If it is under 95 degrees, I will not put the AC on.

fortunately, we dont get a lot of hot days but when its gets really hot here where i live, we go to the beach, hang out at my moms or hubby's parents as they have central air or go to the mall or the library. we dont have central air and fortunately, my work does so i am lucky there.

Here it is still cold. But in summer it can be very hot. Even though, I don't want to stay at home to enjoy the air-conditioner in hot summer. I prefer to go out to have a swimming. I like to do some outdoor activities with my son. Since it will be good for him. I love China

in case of a hot day, I would not want to go out of my hostel. I would go take a cold bath for longer time and go back to my room with my body all wet and enjoy the fan. It would really cold me down for a while. You should try that too dude. After all one may fall sick because of the intense heat. Those who are not used to heat will suffer more.

I hate summer season because its too hot during summer. All i do is close all doors and switch on my ac and sit in front of my system with some soft cool drinks. :-D

In the hot summer months I usually spend them in the water, either at the lake, the beach or my own backyard. If it's too hot then I spend them indoors sitting in the air conditioning.
