After a long holiday, I forgot the Hiragana and Katakan.

Hiragana and Katakana - This is some of the Hiragana and Katakana. Hiragana is the basis of the Japanese writing system and is largely phonetic. Hiragana developed from man'yogana, Chinese characters used for their pronunciations, a practice which started in the 5th century. The forms of the hiragana originate from the cursive script style of Chinese calligraphy.

Hello dear lotters, how you been? Hope you are doing well today. Tomorrow I'll start my class again after three week of holiday. I enjoyed my holiday, tho I did not travell anywhere but it was not that bad. I was happy being busy with the house . I just prepared my books for tomorrow and realized that I missed something. When I took a look at my Japanesse book, I was like "what the hell is this?" I had no idea about what I was reading . During the long holiday I never opened my book, I forgot all the Hiragana and Katakana characters. It is suck, I am so frustrated. Now I have to start it from zero. Like in my play group time, I start to learn about A, I, U, E, O bla bla bla again Whay Japanesse and Chinesse have such a weird alphabet? It takes age for me to remember. Can anyone give me any advice about how to remember Hiragana and Katakana characters easily? Please, please, pleaaaseeeeeeeeee.

You have course in Japanese? A long time ago, I also learn it. But to my experience, it is always easy to remember the Kana, after we once remember it. I often write Kana to remember it. Almost all of my book has complete character, write it every time I hold a pen. That is my way to remember it (in those day). Unfortunately, currently I can only write my name.

Hii microo.. Yes I do, at the moment I am too lazy to read book or keep practicing . I think Hiragana is easier to be remembered. I am easy to remember and easy to forget lol just your name? So sad, you need more practice like me.

Hi adhyz... Yeah I know, it is my fault for choosing Japanesse. I think I don't really like Japanesse. If I could take the time back, I'd take Deutsch or Mandarin . But I won't give up. I'll keep learning and do my best for this subject.

It might be a crazy idea. But try reading a manga in the original language. I don't know whether it's written on Hiragana or Katakana, but maybe it would motivate you more, that you have to be able to read Japanese comic in their original language
