It was late last month when I moved out from our home. That, I have decided to live on my own. I have adjusted somehow to the new surroundings and the way of transportation except in riding and taking tricycle in and out of the subdivision where I am living. As everytime I ride a tricycle, my muscle becomes painful. That because of the non-sturdy motion of this vehicle, I easily get tired. Just like today, I have ride twice a tricycle, and so, my muscles are painful and I really feel so tired. But, what can I do, I really need to adhere this or else, I really need to buy a car for my own service so I won't ride anymore in a tricycle.

what country are you in? my sister just moved to china and she said there they travel by moped.. something she or her kids were not use to nor expected, there u cannot buy a car, i think that is what she said, i know when it is daylight here in the usa it is dark in china.. she is moving bsack after 2 years from there she and my mom are gonna live there 3 more months and then move back to the states, illinoise i think.. i am like you i wold hate to have to take a tricycle every where i went, if that was the case i porbably would stay at home alot more, here i do not have a car, my husband has a truck and when he leaves at 2 to go to work i have to walk where ever i go. lucky for me we live in town and i dont mind walking at all, infact we just came back from walking to the family dollar.. i have a whole big subdivision i can walk to , krogers, goodwill, mexcian reasturant, subway, hallmark, and so on.. i do like living in the city alot.. i am talking to a new guy and he is a farmer and lives in the country, so im not sure if i can adjust to that life or not something to thunk about. i guess.. if i get divorced from my husband, he is the one that wants the divorce not me.. so i tiold him i would move on.. and he said go ahead. i dont love you anymore... ouch.. so i am moving on. trying to find someone else that can love me.. neither one of us was happy in the marriage, so i guess its for the best..

Hi airasheila! How have you cope with living by yourself so far? I want to know because I also plan to live on my own. Actually I am looking for an apartment right now but I cannot move until after the second half of this year. The challenge that I have now is my son. He is 8 years old so I have to hire a nanny for him and she has to live with us too
I can imagine what you meant about the tricycle rides but I am not really bothered by it. I ride it everyday so I guess I just got used to it. Just keep on doing it and you will not be bothered anymore It is just hard when you have so many things with you and you have to stock everything inside barely living you space to sit on.. and those low ceiling tricycle are the hardest. You have to stoop all the way through your travel. Ugh.

Tricycle in our place is like taxi in yours. The fare is just to high, but I must say that tricycles here are way more comfortable than any other places' I have seen. Still, the fare is just killing me. traveling via tricycle in our city a lot can make you poor.

I understand how you felt riding on a tricycle because I remember when I was leaving in my father's house before, I also took a rode for a tricycle though its just a short distance and still the fare was really expensive.
But now Im living here in Manila I never take a ride for a triycle.
Anyway, take care and sure you can have your own service soon.

I know how terrible that is although when we were young riding the tricycle seems so much fun probably because our bodies were stronger then. It was more terrible in our subdivision years ago when the drivers were very uncourteous, were not properly dressed, almost all were smoke belching, their suspension was in real bad state and had no proper or missing lights and they did not have proper travel lines (colorum). That had all been fixed now due to the cooperation of our homeowners association, barangay and other law enforcement agencies plus our Mayor. They all have uniforms now and wear proper shoes (not slippers) and are apprehended when they do not have proper lights. Another thing is do not back ride, I think you won't be covered by insurance in case something happens.
