When will HBO air game of thrones season 2

I can't wait to see Daenerys Targaryen rise to power. What will her next step be, now that the dragon has awaken?. Will Jon Snow ever learn about his roots this season. I have the second book but i don't wan't to read it yet. What are your thoughts of your favorite character's advancement in the story this season?

Season 2 will air on April 1. Hopefully it won't be an April Fool's joke.
I think Daenerys will likely travel a lot trying to convince horsemen tribes to join her Khalasar (army). Jon Snowe on the other hand will be too busy investigating the white walkers to meddle in the affairs outside the Night's Watch. Besides, it is forbidden for them anyway as members of the Watch. People who've read the book say that another character, a guy named Davos, will be the one to find out about Jon Snowe's mother.
I'd like to see Arya, my favorite, work on rescuing Sansa from Joffrey, continue her father's investigation on Robert's b*stards, and wage guerrilla war on the Lannisters. But I don't want her to go to the Night's Watch as it isolates her from the events in Westeros.

Ahahahah I have been waiting so long for someone to respond to this post. Thank you for sharing these information, it's not at all obvious you've read the book hehehe.
I've just seen the teaser in HBO, it will be shown on april 21st. Which is 20 days later from your predicted date, pretty close :).
Yeah, too bad for Jon Snow, I want to see him reunited with Robb and Arya. Speaking of Arya she looked really cool this season. She's no longer wearing those dirty clothes, she's stylishly dressed in leather. She looks like Jon Snow now.
