They are very strict in traffic laws and cleanliness. So just be cautious were you throw your trash and when you cross the streets. I would be cautious also when you depart from Manila. Bring all the proper documents like your hotel reservations and your plane ticket back to Manila. If it won't be a hassle, bring an Employment certificate with you. Don't give the immigrations officer a chance to think that you are trying to find a work in Singapore especially when you are traveling alone. As for Bangkok, Macau and Vietnam, they are not strict. Just follow the usual guidelines and enjoy your trip.

Hi, for me Singapore was a very strict country, people said Singapore is a fine country. Every rules should be noticed and obeyed. You'll find many surveillance cameras on public spaces. About Thailand and Vietnam, I've never been there so I can't tell. Good luck with your journey .

I needed a passport but no visa ton visit Singapore. I have been there three times on my travels it being a great stopover on the way to and from the United Kingdom and Australia. I suggest looking tidy arriving there. When there remember the laws are strict and are not to be broken. I saw a notice warning feed a monkey and get a ten thousand dollar fine.
Macau is close to Hong Kong. There is a lovely overland route from Singapore to Thailand through Malaysia. From Thailand there is a superb overland journey to Vietnam via Cambodia and Laos would make a wonderful side trip.

Hello Kae,
Before I go to other place too I always follow the common rules and regulations. As we all know Ignorance of the Law Excuses no one. So I always read signage wherever I go. so I will know whats do's and don'ts of that certain place while in I a bus. So for me, when you will be there in singapore you should read street signs and I thinks the Dont's and do's here in Philippines is the same in Singapore but they are more strict, rules are rules no exception!
