Man throws his 8 month old baby in a river!

I would like to know the link where you got it or was it on Tv? I would think he had tried to persuade the mother to have an abortion and she said no. The reason is that he did not want to pay child support. Either - because I did not know where you got the news from - he was told he was the father, and figured this was a way to not be responsible for what he did. I feel sorry for the mother because she no doubt wanted the baby and now the man she thought she was in love with, goes and murders her baby. I hope justice is done. Maybe they have to find more witnesses as to his character so to give him a tougher sentence.

That is really harsh! For sure he is not in the right mind when he did this. He should be in mental hospital already or else rotten in hell of what he did.

It really is sad to hear that this sort of thing happens. Being a parent, it really breaks my heart to know that some parents would do such a terrible thing to their child. I can't imagine what was going through this man's mind, when he did this. I definitely would NEVER even think of doing such a thing to my child.

Whatever reason this man has for doing this is inexcusable. We all have problems, some worse than others, but even we have no right to take away the life of anyone, especially our own child. And it's also very disappointing to hear that justice hasn't even been served. I mean, a year had passed and there's still no final conviction? This is another reason why a lot of people are losing faith in the justice system.

I have always believed in an eye for an eye, you take someones life then your life should be taken too. Especially when taking the life of someone that can't fend for themselves, can't fight back. What kind of person takes the life of a baby, and why are we paying to keep him here?

There is no excuse for stupid. I can't believe, after he was blessed with a child, that the baby's father would toss him/her in the river only to watch it die. This is sick and I hope this father, he probably doesn't deserve the title of father, lives the rest of his natural born life in prison locked up in maximum security and rarely sees the light of day. It is a terribly sad story. May the baby rest in peace.

Oh my . I've heard of things like this in the news, and sometimes what the suspect says is that they were told by a spirit or something like that to sacrifice their child. Its crazy...but things like this happens...and its pretty sad that a child's life is wasted because of such thing.
