Hi Shweta! Raising a child is the most arduous, tedious and uphill task. Babies are always unpredictable and one has to be with them 24x7. A ten months baby can not be left all alone unattended. If you forget to take even your food while taking care of sweet little prince, it shows that how caring mother you are. You put your baby before you and your needs. It is paramount that baby should be taken care of but in the process you should not skip your breakfast or meals because you also require lots of energy and stamina to look after your baby and if you go without food, it could affect your health. You need to remind yourself that food is equally important for you and you should take it at the first available opportunity, while taking care of the little one. Hope when he grows up and you tell him about missing your food he would feel proud of you.

It is wiser on your part that you are trying to make yourself understand that skipping breakfast/meals is not good for your health and you will not miss your breakfast etc. from now onwards. I understand you know 'health is wealth'.

Well said, Deepak. AS it turns out, I am shwetat195's hubby. And, I have tried to make sure she eats her meals normally. When I am at the office, I do ask her if she has had her breakfast & lunch - maybe its like a reminder for her.... :D Thanks for your response.

Yes this has happened many times before my daughter was a year. I try really really hard to eat 3 meals a day. I'm pregnant with my second child and I have a 13 month I can't afford not to eat so I try to eat when she is eating at the same time. Normally most of her meals are finger food so she can feed herself till my husband gets home and then I can have a much better meal with him being around. I mostly eat the a lot of oats all day. But before I found out I was pregnant again I wouldn't eat anything all day besides maybe dinner and a snack when my daughter is napping.Right now I"m hungry.

Yes it is important to eat when pregnant. It gets easier as they your kids get older when your able to eat as well as when they will eat and not bother you.

hi shwetat195 oh my dear as lovely as your sweet ten month old is you must also take care of mom if you are to be a good mom to that precious ten month old. they are so darned sweet at that age but still if you want to really be that good mom you need to stop long enough to eat a decent breakfast and lunch. As women we are brought up to be the care givers but eventually we will end up with illnesses and fatigue if we do not care for ourselves adequately.

I love breakfast and can eat it anytime. We often have omelets for dinner or go to IHOP for waffles or pancakes. It is a comfort food to us. Makes us feel good and warms us. Bacon, eggs, hashbrowns, with toast or pancakes on the side. Yum!

Sometimes I forgot my breakfast and lunch, but I had snacks in between so never feel much hungry. When I m under pressure sometimes I dont feel like to eat, just wanna lay in my bed and that makes me lost some weight in time.

I believe I have experience this a few times. Usually when I'm so involved at something either very important or very enjoyable and time-consuming, and when I wake up very late. My first meal on those times would be right around 4 in the afternoon to around 7 in the evening. It's a very unhealthy practice and I try to avoid that as much as possible. Considering your case, you should really put your health in a priority too. Your baby needs you, and you should be healthy all the time for you to be able to tend to your baby properly. Best wishes!

I love having breakfast for dinner, I have done that on a regular day when I haven't been sidetracked with anything but just felt like having bacon and eggs, french toast or pancakes for dinner. Some people can't change the two meals breakfast food is eaten only at breakfast.

Yes, I love having breakfast for dinner too, but only if I feel lazy to cook. Having oat meal or cereal is better than having junk food. Most of the time I have early dinner, but if I have to eat late dinner than and no cooked food around than healthy oat meal or cereal is my option.
