Will mankind create a better world or eventually annihilate this world?

If you look at human history, mankind has spent more time fighting wars than living in peace. They have arsenals that can annihilate the world several times over. The global
warming is a real threat. There is energy crisis and food and health crisis in sub-saharan Africa. The natural disasters - earthquakes, hurricane, typhoons - are occurring at a far greater frequency in recent times. The man made calamities are all too apparent. The terrorism threat is a real threat that cannot be underestimated. New viral and bacterial strains crop up rather too frequently some of them with unmanageable potential of which HIV is just an example. Given the enormous levels of threats both man made and natural, do you think the world will eventually end up with disastrous outcome. After all, we have had several glacial ages, meteorite showers that annihilated big creatures like dinosaurs. Or, do you think mankind has the potential to find solutions to each of the problems with rapidly growing state of the art technologies capable of addressing issues that were beyond human control in the past?

Yes, only God can but God will not miraculously materialize amid us to make the world better. Human beings through the instrumentality of God will make the world a better place to live.

Man really is determined to make and unmake this planet. There are many theories and proofs that earth would be devastated by major earthquakes and other disasters which are all due to the worsening climate change.Climate change are man made because of the profuse usage of scientific discoveries that proves make other works be more productive but really destroys the atmosphere and thereby change the climate most especially in countries near the equator. It is more lucky to c0ountries with temperate climates because they did not experience hot summers only hot waves that do not last long.War is almost in every corner of the globe and that scientist have discovered a new planet more like that of our earth. Can they all bring all the inhabitants of earth to that new planet they discover?

That mankind can be transported to a safer earth like planet in future is currently far-fetched but not impossible.

With man's desire to create a better world, comes the ambition to be on top of that world. Man will eventually succumb to his own greed and everything else will come next. The potential to build a world of great things is within us all, but those who are corrupt, rotten to the core are unfortunately the ones running this scene. They are the puppet masters, and the world is the stage.

That's one point of view. However, there are theories and models like for instance, the game theory that tells actors in the interaction process tend to maximize the profitable outcome, which means even the selfish and corrupt ones are ready to make sacrifices if it ensures their survival and the survival of all.

It does seem like annihilation is going to be something that is the likely result. That is just where the winds seem to be blowing. I doubt that any of us is going to want that to happen, but in a couple of generations, barring a complete turn around right in life, there is really just going to be something that mostly inevitable. It is almost chilling to the bone to think about but it is beyond to occur.
And I hope that I won’t really live to see it happen but at the rate everything is going, there are some rather alarming signs right out there that points to something eventually happen. There are people who will make a foolish decision or two in power, and then it will be the end for everyone. Let us enjoy what we have while we can, because you never know how much longer we are going to have it.

Man will eventually annihilate this world. And frankly we are seeing the signs. We are getting there. Though the intent of man is good but as he struggles to find answers, it lead to misused of what the world has. God protect and help us all!

Yes, that's right. The believers believe and most probably rightly so that there's an infinite intelligence that has actually ensures the survival of our world. Otherwise, the mathematical probability makes it almost certain that the world might have come to an end going by innumerable instances in the past when the world stood on the brink of extinction.
