Hi,my lotters. Have you ever been eager to know some one or some nations'thinking style ?yes,I do have this kind of thoughts about German. Before I worked in a ship yard in Qingdao Port, doing for ultrosonic gauging for vessel ,and I ever had chance to cooperate with them .From the comunication bettween us ,I really have big appreciation on their way of thinking , working .when they are working ,it seems they are so seriously and try everything to make everything perfect, and it seems they can make evetything in order in a very short time.by the way, they are not losing their humor when you are with them although sometimes we can not understand their way of humor. But it is a pity that I do not know much about theirs living style and I really wanna have a try of real and native German living style. Do your ever have this kind of thoughts?can how you think ?

Yeah, I've always thought that Chinese people are calm, or at least they look calm. I've always wondered how they think, and how they've managed to get most things on Earth made in China. They are diligent people. They're hardworking and I wonder how they've managed to stay that way. They also seem to be disciplined people, maybe that's why they look more organized than other countries.

I am dutch, I lived for several years in Germany but I never met the kind of germans you describe. I think you won't learn a nation by meeting just some germans. Germany is a very big country and each "bundesland" has a different way of living, different people, different behaviour. People in villages, in hills, in the cities are completely different from eachother. Also the way you are raised and your education tells a lot about you as a person but not about the nation itself. It's the same in my country (the Netherlands). Several times a year I live in Hungary and also their all people are different. It depends on the part of the country where you are staying. I travelled a lot, still travelling and everywhere people are different and somehow the same. A few times a year I am also in Africa (my husband lives there). I like it there also although it's completely different from my life-style in the Netherlands or it was in Germany. I don't think you will ever learn a nation know, since in one country live so many different people, with different cultures as well. But observing people is a good start to get them known.

ya, germans do seem to have a certain personna. I was married to one and it was an odd experience. Serious and non-passionate is how i would discribe them. Not to say the Irish are any greater with their history of lemprecans and whiskey drinking. That would be me the Irish.

I have never thought about how people from other country think but sometimes I just wish that I would be able to travel to some countries and experience their culture. I like knowing what others do on their daily lives.

Hello there! DO you mean their culture? I think that is what you mean , so I do love to learn more of other people's kind of living all over the world. Each nation has its own unique ways that should be shared to the world. But on the other hand , upon reading the title of this discussion the first thought that came into my mind is in a political way. If we are talking politically, I am not eager in knowing what they are thinking because it is a very dangerous thing to do. You could be accused as a spy. Each nation has a motive good or bad towards other nations. The main goal is to make your nation great and indispensable to other nations. Happy mylotting!
