Hi airasheila, You're right ice cream is the best food on summer season. I wont feel summer until june and july. I do love ice cream too I love those ice from baskin robins, starbucks and chunkey monkey. The best thing in summer are to wear sexy tank top, short shorties and going to beaches

Yeah, most distributors of ice cream products seem to take advantage of the season to jack up their prices a bit. Even those selling fruit shakes or any food or drink ideal for summer sometimes increase their prices. Ice cream indeed is one of the popular food to have in the summertime. In the Philippines, I think it runs second to the shaved ice and milk dessert (halo-halo). I however prefer the latter since it kind of helps quench my thirst being it's more water than milk. Ice cream beats the heat but it makes me more thirsty after I eat it.

You are right now ice cream is best food because hot season is started. Yes now ice cream price is high because the main season is this.

hi, during the summer time of course the weather during that time is really hot,so the most favorite food for that season are those cold food such as ice cream,salads and ice candy and cold cake too sometimes,hot weather will really annoyed you and for me i just easily irritated when its hot.

I love ice cream but not on this hot weather. I rather drink fruit shakes or very cold water since I have noticed that when I eat ice cream in hot weather I tend to be more thirsty. But I would definitely not pass pistachio ice cream when I see it in the fridge.

Yes, I agree with you.If I am not only pregnant, I can eat ice cream everyday to satisfy my cravings. But right now I need to stop myself because I am prone to gestational diabetes. Ice cream during summer days are in demand. This is to satisfy their cravings and of course give them temporary relief during hot days.

I just look at your profile first I am right you are from Philippines as well. Of course I want halo halo but unfortunately nobody sells here in our place yet. I could only eat ice cream or even the dirty ice cream.

But for me, I always like ice cream no matter how hot or how cold the weather is, even I always eat ice cream regulary in cold weather, it just make me feel satisfied and cool. So people who doesn't know me well will be surprised when I have ice cream in cold season, it always happens

in the summer time that is the best thing to eat :) it gets very hot here during our summers so it is nice to have some ice cream to cool down. the weather this winter (if you call it a winter) as been up and down. some days it is really hot and the ice cream is a great idea but the next day you want to go in and buy hot chocolate lol

I work in a gas station and i talked to the dilevery guy one day during the winter. He said that sales are way down during the winter that is why everything goes on sale during the winter. And during the summer everyone buys ice cream so that is why the price goes up.

I really love icecream, but not as much during the summer. I like frozen yogurt better during the summer along with fruit popsicles because they give you that refreshed kind of feeling. I don't like icecream during the summers because it's all humid and I don't like sticky and sweet with humid, lol. I usually love icecream on mild cold days though.
