Hi, I'm wondering if fever is one of the symptoms that comes with the change of life. I don't know if that is what I am going through or not, but I'm guessing it might be because it's been 48 days since the last period. I had a fever for 1 1/2 to 2 days with no other symptoms to go with it except the aches and pains that come with a fever. So if any of you women know or had a fever as one of the symptoms from the change of life, I would like to hear from you. Thank you!

Hi CFstats.
As far as I can remember, I had no fevers. Sweats all the time, where you felt normal and then all of a sudden you catch yourself having a hotflash where you want to take all of your clothes off and 3 or 4 minutes later, you realize you were having your own private summer. I used to sweat all around my face and neck to the point that my pillow would be wet the next morning. One symptom is going to bed and getting all cozy with your pajamas or gown on and covering up getting all warm and then all of a sudden catching yourself throwing the covers off and jerking your clothes of only to get cold again having to grab the covers again to cover up.
You also feel like you are losing your mind. You will cry and you can't figure out why you feel so sorry for yourself, you will get anry and mean to anyone and everyone at times and so on and so forth, but no I don't remember a fever.

I've never heard of having a fever with menopause but I have heard that your period can be different if you get sick. It could be because you have a fever and maybe some other bodily changes could be the reason you've missed your period. I usually wait til 2 months go by just because I know sometimes it could be my stress levels causing missed periods. Even if you are going through it, I don't think the fever is related, but I don't know that for sure, I've just never heard of it.

I've had a fever before when having my period for one day and with no other symptoms. It just seemed to appear and then disappear. It happened a few times like that and that's why I thought it might be related. I don't have much stress these days so I don't think that could be it. Thank you for your input!
