The problem is, I still have to submit a cover letter. And I don't know how to make one. This really sucks. And most of the work that needs people online are those that I am not skillful enough to do yet. Am I just too stupid or what?
That site I am a member of is known as odesk.com. Yeah, I'm still no job and no money in my wallet there...this pretty sucks for me quite a bit.

I've been through that status. I'm still applying for that site although I'm hired but some of my employers didn't pay me for my hard-work. It was really frustrated yet learning experienced coz I know now who's paying or not.
I'm also contractor @ Odesk. though I'm hired but I immediately withdraw the job because employer instructions wasn't clear so now I'm still waiting for my application. I have a job but its not really high rate but I'm happy coz every week they sent my payment and its really inspired me to do well.
I'm also hoping that you also find a job and get hired. Just try harder i know we all can do it. Though our weakness tells us to surrender but we must strive to earn.

lolz. I don't want to "strive" in order to earn.
Actually, not to be rude or anything, I am the type of person who leans on the goal of financial freedom compared to financial security.
I only want to learn that's why I'm applying for the job. It's all about learning experience for me, instead of the "ka-ching" because I already have MyLot for that--even though it's in pennies. XD
I am glad that you are doing well. I pray that you will continue to do well or even become great at what you are doing. Thanks for the encouragement, also. I really needed that. Have a nice day and Happy MyLotting!

I understand!. Learning also is a process without enjoying it, its like an empty bottle and it seems every day your tired juts doing routine job and there is lacking on the job you applied; that's my opinion. Without loving the work even if it is so simple or very demanding job you have to embrace it fully. Mylot really helps alot.
Thank you for the nice words of yours. Prayer is the most powerful it changes live and those people who pray to others they'll be bless and your one of them. I'm also praying for you not only success but a bless family and good person. Just follow what your heart desire and think thousand times before you decide.
Take care always!

the difference between trial and effort is persistence in the desire to get a freelance job. if one does not get it, try and try again. and keep trying until one gets on your lap. as they say, the first one is the hardest to get. keep looking for opportunities. soon, it will come and be prepared for it. wishing you goodluck and best results.

Thanks for the encouragement.
I'll do my best to get that cover letter soon and get those jobs that I'm applying on.

I am also in a familiar situation. I am still trying on that site. But I guess, only people having at least some hour working experience of that site are preferred.
Writing cover letter is also a difficult task and needs some creativity. I have been writing cover letters for many jobs but yet didn't get a chance to work on one.
But as said above, we have to keep trying until we get one... so please keep trying as there are 10000s of applicants.

I really have no experience in working on any kinds of jobs. So even creating the cover letter is some kind of a milestone for me. Wish me luck in getting to compose one right.

I tried Odesk too... but it bores me. I can see that even if I get a project in Odesk, it's still gonna be like working in an office. Like you, my aim here in Online Business is financial freedom and I believe I can get this through learning affiliate marketing. If Odesk is not your thing, don't do it. Just keep on looking for the right trainer and system.. like most expert and experience online marketers had said, you don't have to work harder, just work smarter..

Don't let things get you down. Have you thought about doing a course to help you improve your skills? It might be worth a go. Good luck and I hope everything works out for you.

Thanks! I'll give it a shot.
Though those tests in odesk really makes me sleepy.
They are boring like my test papers when I take exams in school.

why don't you just copy those free cover letter sample in the internet? in that way you will get a reply from them or be asked for an interview. Just add some files on your portfolio at least they can see your works there. Why don't you try blogging and make that as your reference when applying again. I myself have been declined for like a hundred times more or less but I never gave up and I did found someone to hire me at last.:)
