Palmistry, ever had your palm read?

A friend of mine went to a healing circle, I hadn't seen her in years. She does palmistry. I looked down at my hand. My life and fate lines collide at about 50 years old (I just turned 54) and are jumbled up together for what looks like 5 to 10 years and then the fate line goes off again.
So if I'm reading this right, I have 5 to 10 years of fighting this cancer. But I also have 5 to 10 years afterward.
I thought, "Duh, you've been wondering whether to fight this or not and the answer has been in the palm of your hands."
Ever have a "Dhu" moment? I hope I come out the other side with some answers.
The internet has some great palmistry charts. A professional reading can help you do more. I think it's interesting.
So look into the hand you use most, and what do you see?

No, I have never had my palm read. I have read about it and tried to do mine but was not sure was it was describing. I have had many 'duh' moments. The answer wasn't in my palm but in things that happened to show me what direction to go. I will look into the palm I use most. Thanks.

Our library has many palmistry books. Maybe you could find one with both words and drawings to show you.

I'd have to fly to the nearest state that has one. They only have one in every region. It's costing us a mint without me flying places. I'd also have to stay away from my husband for months at a time. I don't know where all the money would come from. If I lived closer, I would.
If you get a really, really good book, it's not hard. But you have to have one that draws everything they mean. You just got a bad book or webiste. Trust me.

I was told by a person that went there that they have a place for you to stay. I just thought they might be of more help to you than these doctors you don't seem happy with.
I had a good book by a witch but my husband did away with it. Sybil Leek.

I was just wondering why of all things in our body, they read the lines in the palm of the hands ( although i respect people who believe and people who practice it), so why not the wrinkles in our fore heads? or the sole of the foot? if you ask me I think when it comes to health and other issues like lying, or our financial state etc..., think the eyes is a better thing to read, but then again it's just my personal opinon, if some people believe palmistry then so be it!

Last week or the week before, The Doctors, a television show, talked about what many of the various lines mean. Included was the ear lobe line, and they explained the physiology that causes it, and why that might indicate heart disease. However, my hubby has a line in his ear lobe and he is as healthy as a horse. Has had a really good physical. It is just a tendency that may be present. People use the feet for treatments, called reflexology and I do not know how well I believe that. I also know there are certain ways and types of massage that have various effects. I think there are a lot more things we do not understand or just barely know a part of.

A friend of mine said that other lines are read. Such as if there is a line on an earlobe, means heart disease.
Feet are like fingerprints, they print them when you're a kid. The lines in the hands change quite often.
I look into my eyes all the time. They didn't tell me if I was going to live through this cancer or not. The lines in my hands did.

Well, I looked at one site, and I am somewhat baffled about some things I read. I may look again at another more in depth site. My love line says that I give my heart away very easily, and that is true. Not sure if one line is head line or life line. I think they merge just above my thumb. I have more lines in my hand. I think it is from having a lot of fat on my palm. I am glad that looking at your palm helps you resolve to fight well. The site I looked at did not mention fate line.

The site might call it some other line like destiny line or something.
Well if the line quit at 50 something, then that would be a lot of time and money just to die.
My left hand, none of the lines meet. My right hand, they all do. Strange how much different the past hand and the pressent/future ones are.
I read that if a child is born without a heart line, the Drs. look for a hole in the heart or a blockage. Then resolve the problem and then there is a heart line. I don't know if it's true or not, but it makes interesting reading.

It's probably better to get a book. When I was a child, I had a great one. It not only said what to look for, it showed drawings of what it was talking about.

Well, one time that I have to walk to the bank and walk back again to return to the office, I passed by a lady who do palmistry and other cards fortune/future telling. It's still early and I haven't talk to somebody else of my current fears and problems, I decided to sit down and let my palm read. She told me that though I have financial problems, I will survive, money will come and go but the good news is it will kept on coming. I do believe that great blessings always comes my way but I hope that time would come that I would finally say that I am financially okay.

It's interesting because every few years, your lines in the dominate hand change.
Normally I wouldn't think too much about it either, but with all I have going on right now, it's comforting.

Palmistry in fact has scientific basis..it reveals your destiny in a scientific manner. Palm reading is for the specialist who is well versed in the science .

I have always wanted to get mine read. I think it would be great. Most people I know don't believe in it and I am not certain that I would take it to heart but I would love to just see what is said about my life. I once had a boyfriend who was very much into this and we were going to go get ours read together but we never got around to it. Now when I mention it to anyone that I am acquainted with they give me a hard time about it. If I ever run across some extra $ that is not needed else where I might go and see that palmist.

It is quite fun and not that hard to do. Even if you got a book on it, you could do well. I don't know if you have a library near you, but many libraries have good books with charts. Give it a try. It's fun.

I would love a link to a good palm reading site! Do you have any?
I had my palm read once and it was two years ago. This woman at the fair just approached me and said I had energy. She wanted me to come to this hotel she was staying because she said people would think we were crazy if she told me what she wanted too. I thought uh yeah..right..like I am going to do that. She did tell me quite a bit about myself that was right on. I was curious to see what she wanted but I didn't go because you never know about people. I didn't feel bad about her really..it was just an odd request.

Best not to go with her. Many tell people they're cursed and for $1,000, they'll take the curse off.
A really good website would have to be huge. Shape of fingernails tells some things. Whether you have white on them and where it is, tells you something. The shape of your fingertips. The shape of your fingers. The mounts or little hills at the base of each finger, some people are missing one, like I am. Probably the one for having money! Length of fingers. We haven't even gotten to the palm with the lines yet.
I had a kit, strangely enough, made by Mattel as a child. There was a book with every part of the hand explained. Pictures to show you about each and everything they were talking about. Then check mark pages where you could check off each and everything plus put the person's name and date on it. I had friends over and we had a palmistry party. This was back in the 60s or 70s.
Try a library and if it tells you something in a book, make sure it also shows you a picture of each thing. Palmistry has areas for family on the hand, work, health, happiness, all kinds of neat stuff. A website would have to be as bit as a book, quite extenstive to get anywhere.
Everything is subject to change. A friend of mine, her heart line (capacity to love) has gotten longer and mine has gotten shorter. Must be all that time I worked in a jail and a state prison.

It is fun and it's pretty easy. You can use a library book, ebook, etc. They even came up with a kit in the 1960s so you could record your findings. What's really cool is that the lines change every few years. The hand you don't write with will look really different from the hand you do, usually.

Each to their own beliefs. I believe we choose, too, but when you have cancer, it would be nice to know if the chemo is going to work or be a waste of time. So I didn't choose cancer and therefore, I think there is a limit to how far I think we have choice. Like we can choose chemo or not, but will either decision make any difference.
