I have seen lots of discussions on mylot praising it benefits. May be most of u would give an answer no. But I just want to know if there is anyone who thought of deleting mylot account or deleted the account and rejoined to face this discussion. But I feel for those who have time and interest to be here could earn a lot and also give much quality discussion. Moreover I feel hardly or rarely could we see such sites. Anyhow I wished to know if there is any one have a reason for giving a thought to delete this site.

So far I have not thought of deleting my account here. I would like to stay here for a longer time, even though I am really very busy these days and sometimes there were days I could not log on here. I still would want to keep my account here. If I would think of deleting my account, it would be for a good reason.

I've been here only 2 months, but I notice that a few of my friends disappeared from my list even though I never deleted them. I just assume that they deleted their account for one reason or another.

I have never of thought of that. I have not encountered any problems in myLot that might have led me to think of quitting and rejoining. There was a time that I have been absent here for a long time which could have made me forget my username and password but all is save in my email so I easily got back without having to change anything. I have not encountered any problems with anyone here, too. I came across annoying and unreasonable members but that did not lead me to think of quitting. I still can tolerate them. I wish nothing would happen that would force me to quit and rejoin. I would hate to change my username and start from scratch.

Yes, I've thought about deleting my account and rejoining. One of the reasons is I don't care for my username. LOL Another is because I used to get so many notifications in my inbox I couldn't keep up with them all and mylot too (in fact, I still have a bunch of old ones I have yet to respond to). I've since taken care of that as I recently went through changing my notifications...at least most of them anyway. I don't get bombarded with a ton emails anymore. However, between family, running errands, work (and looking for work) I still can't seem to find the time to participate on here as much as I'd like to. But I am trying. Even if it's just a few posts at a time. As for the username, I'd still like to be able to change it, but not without having to start over. I've put so much effort into this account I'd hate to close it now. Happy mylotting!

There are few who leaves and rejoined. There is nothing wrong with it. They rejoined again because they can't resist the addiction here in mylot. We cannot blame them for leaving- for they also have reason for doing so. But, those who leaves and spread bad words about mylot are not worth coming back!

jai I couldn't understand why people have still come back here to post nasty topics about myLot. If they aren't satisfied, I think they should just leave.

Friend if once my account will be deleted due to any reason then I will never join again mylot. Because it is very hard to make new account because my interest will loose. I will pray this site will not deleted because lots of people are earning from this site and some persons stress also less due to this site because they do the fun here.

I know a number of people who have closed their accounts (of their own volition) and have started again. They all have different reasons for doing this: sometimes it is because they are dissatisfied with the name they have chosen, sometimes it is because they feel that their MyLot Reputation ('star') is unjustifiably low and occasionally it is because they wish to come back as 'a different person'. Of course, if you close your account, you lose any earnings you may have accumulated and you lose access to other things associated with the account. Although your profile will disappear, any discussions, responses and comments you have made under the old name will still exist (so long as they are not deleted as violations, of course) but they will still be associated with the old username: they are NOT 'transferable'. If you choose the time when you close the account - just after a payment, for example, you can avoid losing any money by doing so. Some people, of course, do find that MyLot is no longer 'their thing' and leave permanently. Sometimes they will actually close their account (and not open a new one) but there are many people who have left MyLot but still have accounts here. MyLot does NOT deactivate accounts or remove them simply on the grounds of 'no activity' (though the profile may say 'xxx has had no activity in the last 60 days'). Any earnings associated with the account, however, will be forfeited if the user does not log in within a period of 90 days.

All most all points you have focused are to be agreed, I feel it depends upon one's decisions making choice and freedom.

Hi Shamrack! I have never thought of doing so but I have made friends here that have done it. I know that at one time there was the issue with "trolls" that was causing people to restart their membership here. There was also some kind of glitch here where people were being kicked.

No, never thought to delete my mylot account. If you delete your account and create new one your rating will be lost, which i think, will affect the earnings. Even if we delete and create new account, it will be the same site and same people, so why should we delete and create new one?
