My bestfriend has a new friend

I was watching a cartoon show about best friends and it hits me . We meet people everyday and gain new friends. But do you feel threaten when your best friend has a new friend and they seem to be close and you feel like you are fading from the picture? Well I do get that feeling sometimes. Call it jealousy but it can happen, it is like I am afraid of losing a very important person, the one whom I am completely be comfortable with aside from my family. I am not saying that you should not allow anybody to become your new friends or your best friend. But its the feeling of getting replace by someone new that gets into you sometimes.Does it happen to you too? What do you do about it? Or have you found out that after that new person you are no longer his/her best friend? Share your thoughts! thanks!

it also happen to me,,but theres nothing could our friendship,our childhood memories. we value that., we our test by time,although we other friend the treat of each never change still the same

Yes, I think it is just a feeling but nothing could get pass the memories and time you both had.

No I don't feel threatend why should I? If my friend is happy I am. It won't change real friendship. This besides of the fact I don't stick together with my friends daily or weekly. We can have contact (by email or text for example), but we all live our own lives.

Oh maybe because you do not live close and you dont see each other often . But thanks for the answer, maybe I am just being immature at times :D
