I have been talking about doing this for about 15 years now so back in January, I finally talked myself into it...about a month ago, I bought my next stud to get ready to change it as the one I am wearing that I was pierced with is annoying it the bottom of it like to try to stick out of my nostril...I know this feels like it's gonna hurt when I change it for the first time & my friend said it does but I want to hear from others that have their noses pierced...did it hurt the first time you took out your stud?

I also want to know how much it hurts when you need to blow your nose. Do tell moonchild.

It hurts like hell if you need to blow your nose within the first week of getting the piercing but after that, it's ok

Hmmm I don't know because I haven't got mine pierced but I got four nieces and two daughters who do. Though I don't remember either of them mentioning it hurting coming out. I didn't like them at first but finally I am used to them. I don't remember hearing it hurt coming out but I remember the complaining they did waiting to be able to change them.

The only time my nose piercing hurt was when I was putting in/taking out a stud that had a 'bone' on the end of it (I don't know what it's called - but that's what I call it!) where it has a little ball on the end of the stud (the part that goes IN your nose) so it stays in - well, it hurts a little bit to get it in at first. I still have a hole in my nose from when I had it pierced about 5 years ago, I should actually buy some jewelry and see if I can't get it back in!

It's been just over 2 months & it still hurts to try to get the stud out as I still have the original one in & can't wait to change it...maybe I should just bite the bullet & do it.

some of my friends my classmates during high school had nose pierced, and they only did it with their own hands with the using of needle, sometimes they want me to do that too but i am afraid especially when they will use needle for it.most girls who had it as per my observation.
