Students and social service

Students are social being. They can't live alone. Our society pays for all possible means for their progress. Love, care, cooperation, every thing of the society are presented to the students for their succes.
Students should also have duties towards society. They should do some social work. Social service is an important part of education.
Students are generally energetic. If their energy is utilised properly, it may lead to a flood of fortune. Students can join the activities like literacy campaign, pollution control or tree plantation programme. Students can start night classes in some slum areas. During their long vacation students may go out in groups to the village to educate the poor people. They can nurse the sick, run the flood victims. They can repair roads, clean tanks and cut the jungles, social service creates fellow feeling. It is an ideal education through work. It enlarges the students' sence of value and their vision.

yes, all the things you say are all correct with good intention. although there are also lot of advantages and disadvantage. know of all of become a student, still studying or already finish college degree. i know student who barely could not go to school and work in school canteen and library as working scholar. i see there patience and balance between work and studies. some get successful while other stop because they had no time to balance everything. i myself becomes student and my life goes like here, home, school. the repetition is endless. and i just concentrate on studying and helping my family. those other activities have only few times left so i think some could do what you say while other would hesitate. they have their own reason as they could volunteer but during their free time all they do s to rest and spend it with there family.

Hello my dear Tamosree1993,
First of all I want to say that I do like what you have written and the second is that we are at the same age, which makes me even more interested in your topic.
I share your opinion and I believe that we - students should do such good things, but understand how much students of your age will want to do that for free. All that people are thinking of is money.
Why we are here is this site now? Because of money. I do not know why you need money, but I need for my future education. So when I need money and I must work for them I do not have time and strenghts for free work.

Agree. In my part, I do community services in places, such as literacy and feeding program, on places I think needed most. Aside from it gives me lot of pleasure, seeing other people smile and their happiness that is countless, it gives inspiration to me too.
