Tips for being happy

Do you have your formula for being happy? For example when I feel sad I make myself a cup of tea and listen to music. What do you do?

Man is an animal that worries and so moments of unhappiness are inevitable. Happiness has a lot to do with one's mental attitude. One man's food may be another's poison.What is one's work may be another's pastime. When I am unhappy, I read books of my choice. That always does the trick.

Yes we will be unhappy at times. There are so many things that contribute to our unhappiness. With all the stress and anxiety that so many people are facing. We do have to try and keep a positive attitude. That will not make the problem go away but it will help a great deal.

Yeah usually I make myself a cup of coffee and do something that I enjoy. Whether it's going somewhere or doing something at home like reading an encouraging article. These types of activities make me feel better when I'm down.

When I feel sad,I will leave that place at once and go out for a walk or a rush,then I will forget that trouble. Or I will phone my best friends to talk about . Even have a drink and then go to sleep!

To me there is really no one hundred percent foolproof formula of being happy. There are just going to be many times where something that really lifts up my spirits on one day, it might not really just be rather uplifting on another day. I do think that there are just going to be many things that are just going to make me happy a lot of the time. Like listening to music and just relaxing, hanging out in friends. I think that trying to be absolutely as positive as possible is just going to really be what is the best thing to do. There is no foolproof formula out there however for gaining the most amount of success. You just really got go with it and see what direction life just brings you. Certain activities lead to my joy being more. I guess it just depends on my mood in general on each and every individual passing day

I find a way to comfort myself when i feel sad,for example,listening to the music and telephone my family and friends to tell the situation.lol,i feel much more comfortable to be frank with them.lol,life is short,just make life easy and ease.

Every time I feel sad, I like to go to mall and go shopping, hang out with friends and have some coffee, and go to the spa to relax. :-)

In my bad periods I decided to do 3 sweet things for myself to make me feel better and I wrote it down every day to be aware what I did and how I felt. These were small things like a hot tub, hot cup of tea with biscuit, coffee with cream, some chocolate, a bird singing, sun shining, etc.. each time it became a bit more or something bigger. In the end I did not need to write it down anymore. I decided that happiness is a choice and there are so many things that can make me feel good. The only thing that still gives me a lot of peace is if I burn incense esp. if I feel stressed or are in a hurry. Spending time with just me helps me a lot too.

Good question. But why should you ever be sad? Yes, there are moments when there are issues and circumstances that might worry you. I usually question myself why am I feeling sad and watch my mental wavering/thoughts etc as a neutral observer with deep, slow and long breath and my mind gets less agitated.
