I'm a Filipino but unfortunately for me, I don't have the chance to travel and explore the rest of the country. As much, as I love to see the beauty of my country but that's how bad my finances are. That's why I just read a magazines or watch the beauty of the islands in the internet. How sad:
Have you ever visited the Philippines? where did you go?

As for me, from all the beaches I have traveled to, the beach of Boracay island is still the best. The sand in there is fine and white plus the water is not that salty. Also, there are a lot of activities in Boracay, whether on the beach or off the beach. I especially like the hotels situated at the beachfront because the view in the morning is really great. I will surely go back there. But if you are living in the urban areas, try to go after the beaches of Batangas. They are quite easy to go to and does not need a lot of budget to enjoy the beach.

try to visit Pagudpud in Ilocos Norte. The beaches there are nice. You can find many resorts there.

Yes, some of my friends and acquaintances suggests Pagudpud too. They say that the sand there is also white and fine like that of Boracay. It is definitey one of my target places here in the Philippines to go over. What activities are available in there? I really love to go to a certain place and try different stuff and activities out. Maybe you can suggest some good stuff to do in Pagudpud other than swimming in the beaches.

I lived in Davao and the place is surrounded with beautiful beaches in Samal island. There are lots of beautiful beaches to choose from in Samal. Blue Jazz, Pearl Farm, RMPC, Green Isle are just among the wonderful beaches to visit here. I love White Island in Camiguin too, super terrific ivory sand, blue water and pristine surroundings.

The concept of "best" depends on us. It's all up to us on how are we see it. It's only you who can say what's best. Anyway, For me I consider Calicoan Island in Eastern, Samar as a best beach. Why? It's because this island is a hidden treasure. This island has never been known by the many but for us this is best. It also has a white sand and this is also the surfing camp in Eastern Visayas.

You can't discount the Cebu beaches too! If you really want to enjoy a beach life away from the noise and pollution of the city, you can try to visit Bantayan island or Camotes island. Been here to these places several times already but something deep inside me keeps on longing to go back...

There are a lot of beaches in the country. Of course there is the ever popular Boracay and Palawan and Bohol. If you are not planning for a plane ride, you can try zambales which has the aninuan or potipot island. There is also pagudpod which is in the northern part. The nearest probably will be the beach resorts in San juan, Batangas or Laiya , also the Quezon province or even puerto galera. My friends and I did that, we are 6 and I just spent 800 pesos for an overnight trip in batangas. So far I have gone to beaches in Laiya and San Juan batangas .. Infanta,Quezon .. Puerto Galera... Lingayen, Pangasinan...Subic...Zambales and Bohol.

As for me, the best beaches in the Philippines can be found in Palawan. There are many secluded beaches there that has white sand and the scenery is amazing. There are lots of islands and limestone cliffs nearby which creates a mystical effect within the surroundings. And of course, there are less people there if you compare it with Boracay or Puerto Galera....There is this beach in Calaguas Island in Bicol. It is so beautiful!!! It is like Boracay but take away the resorts and the establishments...
