Lavender flowers - Butterfly feasting on the flowers
Flowers are just so attractive no matter what kind, color and size. I wish you have attached a photo of the at flower so we can help you know the name. I've not been to Finland but I know that in that part of the country there are also various kinds of beautiful flowers which are not found in tropical countries such as mine. In my country there are also lots of flowers that I can't even say the name but they are beautiful so I just plant them in my garden.

Exotic flower - Found mostly in the wilderness
And here is another one, it is exotic and blooming mostly from January to May. I don't know the name either but they come in various colors of yellow, red, orange and dark pink. They grow in vines and do not need much attention.

White flowers - What name do you have?
By the way, I think you can't attach any image yet in your discussions. I think you have to reach a certain number of post before you can attach photos. Just refer to the FAQs. I can't remember anymore. I am again posting another photo of white flowers. I don't know what is the name of this flower either but they are lovely.

The flower is really beautiful. I live far in the north, so we have only snow this time, but the spring is coming, even if the news guy on TV talked about "hold your hat" weather..

Without a picture or a link to a picture or any description, it is hard to say what flower you are speaking of. There are many flowers which bloom in Autumn. I can think of Autumn Crocus and Chrysanthemum, particularly, but there are many others.

I finally found your photo! I think that it is a variety of Sedum - possibly Sedum spectabile or telephium: http://www.succulent-plant.com/families/crassulaceae/sedum/sedumtelephium.jpg (but it's hard to tell which). It flowers in late summer and well into autumn and is a favourite with the late butterflies here in England. The sedums (or stonecrops) are a very varied family and some are tiny, creeping plants while others are quite tall. The tall, bright pink one is quite a common garden plant here in England and seems to survive the winter well.

I also like the flowers, especially when running around the beautiful flowers, but I am wondering how to upload pictures in this comment.
