I woke early today and went to the market and get some veggies for my recipes breakfast and lunch. I will prepare a salad today since I am missing salad so much. As all you friends know I am starting to eat veggies and keeping my self healthy, doing exercise and trying to lose weight
I have this fresh lettuce, shiny tomato, carrots, cucumber and thinking to put onions too hhmmmm what meat should I put? A grill chicken tender or bacon? which one is better? What do you guys think?

Hi mrswhitfield,
I miss salad so much so I get up early and get veggies for my salad. I think grill chicken sounds good and I am thinking if my italian dressing will fit on my salad with grill chicken? hehehe

hahaha I will mrswhitfield,
the only prepared salad I bought was from my old work place, I know they make salad fresh everyday. I was out of work for 2 years over and never visit my work place lately. I miss salads over there so delicious

Mmmmm!! Good that you remember to put a protein in your meal too! Hmmm, I would put in whatever you have in hand! Bacon is probably not the healthiest. Grilled chicken or even baked is good. Sometimes we do pork (like after a roast dinner, I would have a little leftover, so we put that in a salad the next day). Sometimes I've put in sliced up sandwich meat - like ham! Even sliced up boiled egg provides the protein. Hope you enjoy your salad whatever you decide!

I do love salads but for breakfast I'm not usually a big eater, so just cereal or a waffle is fine with me. I'm thinking French Toast or Pancakes too on occasion but right now am cutting back on the white flour, eggs and sugar too. A salad would have to wait til at least lunch time, but if you can stomach it for breakfast then go for it. I would have probably chosen the bacon cause it's more of a breakfast food in this case than chicken for me.

i think chicken if you want it mo healthier but for more tastier salad i go for the bacon. and some tipsto about the dressing that i hope you will try is yogurt and its much better if its flavored it really taste yummy. and you can also add corn and fresh orange to make the taste a little bit funkier. ha ha

Oh, I love salads. They taste so fresh and delicious and makes me feel fancy in a way, lol. I usually don't eat it a lot though because they're kind of expensive unless you have the ingredients at a reasonable price and make them from scratch. I even get full by them, despite their reputation of being a small-appetite food choice. And you should add both in, lol. Depends on what you feel like eating though :)

Hi elementah, welcome to mylot
Yes making salad is a bit pricey in other country since vegetbles are very pricey.
I got my veggies in reasonable price so I think I am lucky hahaha.

wow i love vegetable salads
hmmm you know what, honestly i don't know what to choose heheh i love both but i can actually taste the bacon in my mouth right now
yeah that's right, that is how much i love eating salads, i can actually taste it in my mouth right now, including the dressings hahah!!
hmmmm but i suggest for health's sake, choose chicken, i think it has less fat and more on protein.
