Hello fellow Filipino mylotters! Just wanna ask you all about opening a paypal account here in the Philippines? What is the most convenient way of getting it with a minimal charge? I really love to hear about you all. Your response would be very much appreciated. Thank you and have a nice day!:)

Unionbank's EON. I recommend it.
It's a savings account that you can use for your online transactions. It comes with a debit card that can be used as an ATM, used in point-of-sale transactions, can be used as Visa too.
Since it's a savings account, you can withdraw your money from paypal using the option of "withdraw through bank" which charges only P50.

Opening a Paypal account is actually free. You don't need to pay anything. Although Paypal would debit a small amount in your credit card, debit card or bank account you've provided if you want your Paypal account to be verified. A verified account allows you to withdraw your money from Paypal to your bank account. But they would return this once your account has been verified.

There's a list of banks that recognizes PayPal. I think almost all the big-named banks are there. You could just search it on the net and find the bank that's near your house. Off the bat, there's BPI, BDO, Unionbank, Chinabank, Metrobank to name a few.

just log on paypal.com/ph and create your account. you can withdraw funds to your account but will charge you 50 pesos fro amount less than 7000. you can use your account to purchase online and you can add your own credit card also. credit card should be validated by the way.

If you withdraw money from paypal to bank i think charge50 pesos.Like this week i withdraw my 3000 money and they charge 50 pesos.
But if youo want to get money to your bank,it is better you withdraw more than little because same will charge 50 pesos.. think limit to withdraw is 7,000 or i don't know.
