I am an avid reader and I am looking for a new read. I've been reading a fiction book about fallin angels on earth. I really enjoy these books a lot. I also read books with witches, vampires, and things of that nature. I am almost finished with my last book "crescendo" by B. Fitzpatrick. Can anyone recommend anything along these lines?

It is a historical fiction based on the life of a nurse just after WWII who is transported back in time in Scotland when exploring a Stone Circle. The books follow her life and the love she finds two hundred years earlier then her time period. Through out the novels she is deemed a witch, travels back and forth through time and other adventures. There are I think 8 books now.

You have got to try Keri Arthur, she is a little racy and graphic in a R-rated manner but the books are excellent. Also, try Cassandra Clare the "City" books. She is another excellent writer and her books are hard to put down.

Have you read anything by Sherrilyn Kenyon or Gena Showalter? Sherrilyn has the Dark Hunter Novels and Gena has the Lords of the Underworld novels. The Lords' series is about a group of warriors who opened Pandora's box eons ago and were cursed to house the demons locked inside. It's a romance novel so there is some of that within the novel. But the plot is pretty good. Sherrilyn's Dark Hunter novels focus on gods and goddess and other things that go bump in the night. Also romance novels but very good stories. I suggest them.

Why don't you try The Southern Vampire Mysteries by Charlaine Harris. It's a series of about 10 books by now I think. I have read most of them and they are really nice. It the book in which the True Blood HBO Series is based upon.

I've never watched the HBO series but I have heard of it. I did read some of her books, but it has been a really long time since I read them so I doubt that it was any of the books that you are recommending. A series that long should keep me held over for a while. I will definitely give it a try!

Maybe you'll enjoy Merry Gentry by Laurell K. Hamilton, she also has Anita Blake: Vampire Hunter, which have a longer series than the former. Merry Gentry is mostly fantasy with mythology, it's really interesting. I was really captured by the story.
