worst mylotter or a time killer?

hi! i sincerely hope that your sister is doing better after her operation. that is sweet of you to be able to be there for her in times of delicate situations. for me, when you have time to kill, mylotting is such a good way as any to pass the time... regardless of where you are. in my case, i usually bring my laptop wherever i go. as our house has wi-fi, i can pretty much access the internet within our grounds (kitchen, bedroom, garden and my home office). when i go to our head office in the metro, i can have wi-fi access too as well as in most hotels, airports, malls and cafes. but mylotting time is quite limited for me due to a very hectic schedule. once i was on a 2-hour bus ride with wi-fi access, i tried to check my emails as well as a few sites which includes mylot. unfortunately, because of limited access and the signal is tooooooo slow (i was afraid cobwebs will just sprung up--- that's how slow it was... hehehe) ... i could not do even a bit of mylotting except for reading some PM. i decided to just wait until i got home to do the internet. later tonight i'll be visiting my sister-in-law at the hospital who had just given birth to a healthy baby boy a few hours ago (by my count, i have 15 nephews and nieces already). i won't be bringing my laptop then because i'd be sure to play nanny to the kids who would be visiting as well. happy mylotting! :)

I have been here on my netbook from the carehome where my mother was a resident in her last months. I took my netbook there with me to show her some photos of my grandson and then later when she fell asleep I logged on, My best wishes for your sister and hoping that she has a speedy recovery and that all will be well

First, I wish your sister and her child a quick recovery, a healthy birth and long and happy lives! I don't think it's wrong to myLot or other things as long as you're not ignoring your sister's needs and comfort. You're not the type of person who would do that, though.

I don`t see what is wrong if you access mylot from the nursing home where your sister has been admitted or for that matter from anywhere or any place on earth or outer space or from the moon.Since you are not disurbing anybody there is no harm in doing it.At least you are keeping yourself busy and earning some money.An idle mind is the devils workshop and by mylotting you are keeping satan away.So go ahead and don`t bother what others say or think.

It is good to hear that your sister's operation was successful and I hope that she will get well soon. I think it is fine to use Mylot from the nursing home. As long as we have an internet connection we can use Mylot from almost any place. I think it is a good way to spend the time in those periods where you sister doesn't need you for instanse while she is sleeping. Most of the time I use Mylot from my home, but I have a laptop and a wireless internet connection, so when I go away for the weekend I usually bring my laptop. I have used Mylot from the place where I spent my mini vacation and from the school where I took some classes last summer. I have never tried to use my laptop from a nursing home or a hospital, but I would bring it if I had to spend a lot of time there.

I often accessed myLot and other websites while I was at clinics and in the hospital at various times. That is one nice thing about the university hospital system...it has wi-fi throughout. I don't think I could live without internet access for so many days while I was in the hospital whether it was for chemo or other problems.

Just a friendly FYI : In the USA, we mostly call the centers I assume you're sister is at as a rehabilitation home. A Nursing home is usually for older people. Is she not in the hospital? Maybe she's just in a room resting, I'm not sure what you mean. I am glad they were able to operate and I assume all is well with her and baby, which is good. I have accessed mylot from an old smartphone I had, but it took a long time to earn from there. Still, if I were to get another smartphone I may still access it so that I can earn while on the go. That is probably the worst thing for which i've "killed time" with.

Hi sibhie. .. I thought u want to learn as a nurse...lol Anyway..i access Mylot through mobile..so i can access it anywhere. I buy this mobile just for that... My wish came true..i can log in the bus or in the school while waiting my daughter to get collected..or here in my bed

I think anywhere you can access the internet as long as your attention and concentration isn't needed is a perfect opportunity. I'd be happy if a family member was with me even though they are on the internet.

almost everyday I try to steal time beside my busy work hours to have mylotting. actually there are other activities to do in my office, but my current job is very awful and boring and my existence in mylot beside to having fun is also to decrease my boring. Don't you think it's little weird for me to almost never have mylotting at home with my laptop?? But I really did it! anyway, I hope your sister will get better soon. I think in that situation you should leave mylot and focus with your sister's healthy -even may be there are some people there. your presense will make her stronger and pass the moment better

Hi shibham, Sad to hear about your sister. But it's a good thing that she had already undergone an operation to remove the tumor. Hopefully all will be better for her. Regarding accessing myLot - for me, there is no better and comfortable place to access myLot but at home. But of course I have tried accessing it from other places too. I have tried it on malls too. At nursing home it would be okay and I have heard some myLotter too have had accessed it from the hospital.

I have accessed my laptop in public places but not in a hospital settings. I think it is ok provided that you are not using the hospital electricity and it does not affect how you communicate with your sister. You can also decide to switch it off when she is awake to make sure that you give full attention to her during this time.

I didn't use mylot from anywhere else except from home, as i don't have mobile internet and public wifi is often hard to find. I'm sorry to hear what happened to your sister. Hope she is feeling better. I think you don't need to feel that you are a time killer, it means a lot that you are there for your sister (I wish wouldn't have to be alone all day when I was in hospital) Hopefully she will have a speedy recovery!

I always have my smartphone with me whenever I go. I used it as a time killer specially if I were in a ride. I also go on mylotting whenever were I am as long I have an access to internet. It's fun having to do to kill the time, it help us to be bored.

Hope your sister is better now and you are taking good care of her. Dont get too engrossed in mylotting that you are not aware of what she is doing!!! lol. I have only used my laptop at home and have not taken it anywhere as yet. Nobody has been in hospital since I bought my laptop so am not sure whether I would be tempted to take it with me if I had to stay in a nursing home with someone!!!. Hope your sis comes home soon so that you can mylot from the comfort of your home soon.

I logged in MyLot, whenever and wherever. I logged in MyLot, use the phone. So, I can log in MyLot, anywhere. As I was waiting in line, I logged on MyLot. When watching tv, I login, MyLot. When I pick up my sot at school I also login MyLot. When there is a chance, I always login MyLot.

Yes! I have also accessed the internet through my laptop in a hospital and a nursing home. Those were the times that I have some important papers to finish but I didn't want to miss and help in the pregnancy of my sister in law. Also, I have brought my laptop into many other places just to access the internet before. But I don't have a myLot account yet at those times. I do access from the malls, in the passenger seat of our car, in the lobbies of the hotel and other places. I have been playing a browser based game which I am really committed into that's why I always try to access it whenever we have a war in that game. Being an addict to that game gives me the motivation to do so. And yes, I am still into this game, it already became a habit for me.
