It is so hot suddenly

Here in Iowa we had an especially mild winter. We did not have as much snow and ice as we usually do, nor did the temperatures get bitterly cold. Now it has been an extremely mild spring. Normally March weather is about 50-60 degrees F and there are often rain showers or even thunderstorms. This year the weather has been much, much warmer. This week we have seen 85 degree F temperatures! There have been a few rain showers, but not nearly as often as usual for March. Every bit of the snow has melted long ago which is unusual for this time of year. I am just starting to notice the trees budding and some of my outdoor plants are beginning to peek up through the dirt. These are signs of spring, but the temperatures make it feel like summer already!

The winter where I live was slow in coming, but when it finally came, it was very cold and it also snowed a lot! I had never seen so much snow piled up! Incredible! Now I am just waiting for Spring to come around, as I would not mind seeing some color flowers finally!

We have been having near 60 degree weather for several days a week. In years past we have had below zero temperatures. Things are getting weird and only will be getting weirder. Our ski resorts are losing money big time.

Hi Professor, every year the month of March supposed to be a very hot month. But, to my surprised, this year it changed to be a raining month. I see almost everyday, i am experiencing raining in my area here. I see many people in my area here are falling ills easily. Even my son got flu and coughing recently and had to stay at home for a day, due to serious coughing problem. But, i happy that the first term school holiday had just begin and he can stay at home to rest.

yes its really hot now...im just sitting here infront of the computer but then im sweating to the fullest...hahaha

Our country is a tropical country so there are only 2 seasons,the wet(rainy)season & the dry(summer).Summer came too soon in our country.February was supposed to be a little cold but summer came & it was too soon!The temperature in our country ranges from 28-34 degrees celcius.Imagine that.I come out of the house at 3:30pm & it's still hot but the temperature cools down at a bit past 5 in the afternoon.

In the United States we are officially in "meteorological spring". In Minnesota we can get snow, rain and cold temperatures throughout March. Although not the extreme cold we experience in the beginning of the year, it's still enough to wear a lined jacket or coat. We won't be storing our sweaters and other warm clothing away any time soon. In June is when our warmer weather comes. Rarely is our climate as warm as yours. We have a lot of outdoor tourism here, our second highest source of revenue for the state. Agriculture is our number one source of revenue. We have a great source of corn, wheat, vegetables and fruit. In fact there's normally so much we sell it to the world. We were lucky last year because the growing season was practically perfect. Summer tourism enjoyed the great weather as well!

Yes uncle now weather is very hot. But this year holi comes early in the month but maximum time holi date was 15 to 20 march but this year holi is 8th march on the women's day. So temperature is not high here. HAPPY HOLI UNCLE YOU AND ALL FAMILY MEMBERS.

Some days are cool and windy. But today was near 80 degrees here in Georgia.

To help you to feel cooler,here we still have some snow,nice and bright sunny day today and it is melting some. Here hot weather will come only in about 3 or 4 months. Which is alright, but I know that the time of gardening is close by,I'm looking forward to have my own farm someday.

Here in the country I am in, the weather was quite warm for this time of year also. It was like a cool summer day with the sun out and no rain. It was just beautiful! I know tomorrow won't be the same though. But I enjoyed it very much outside and was out and about. I hope there it doesn't get very hot anymore, I know how uncomfortable that can be. It is still winter right now, it will be Spring soon.

The month of March is really the hottest in the Philippines, that's why March is the " fire prevention" month here, last year there were 900 plus registered fires in our country, hope it does not go high right now, the hottest temperature registered so far this year was on March 4 (34.5 degrees celscius). we still do not know if that is a lion or a lamb , hope it's a lion so it would be a lamb before the month ends, if there is anything good, it's now outing and swimming month too

Yes! In our place in here the weather is really hot. I am from the Philippines, and being a tropical country, the summer weather in here is very hot. But I agree with you, the heat came in as a surprise. I thought that we will be having some nice cold weather in the whole month of February, but the heat already started at the latter part of that month. And now it goes on scorching hot in the summer month of March. Good thing that we are already used to such heat. But I can say that the heat nowadays is quite extreme. Before I can still bear going out at noon, but now, I will sweat profusely even just a few steps out in the noon! Anyway, we can only try to adapt with what Mother Nature has to give us. So guys, better to remain hydrated always. The heat can scorch us so be careful!

I think the world is experiencing some inclement weather changes lately. I'm from the country Trinidad and Tobago in the caribbean and we supposed to be experiencing what we call the Dry season. We've two seasons, a wet season and a dry season. The Dry season is from January to about September and from September thereafter it's the wet season until January, but this is the wetest Dry season we've ever expreienced. It's been pouring rain since the beginning of the year. So I think we're undergoing some kind of weather change of some kind worldwide.
