Is Computer is necessary for life like mobile?

Hi! Now a days everything is becoming dependent on computers. Be it in the field of technology, science, art, weather, studies or sports. Computer has entered in our life like an essential ingredient and those who have seen the power of computer, can not remain without it. It is also true that there are many parts in India where computer has not invaded and people live their life peacefully without mobile or computers. But sooner or later they will have to adopt and accept the power of computers. It is basically a technological advancement so as to make better progress.

Computer is very necessary to millions now , they use it for internet , I think that I use computer more than mobile .

Computers have become part of life for everyone now and everyone seems to be having a computer now. I was surprised to see that even in some villages people have computers now. Not in very remote villages though. Most of the jobs today also demand us to access our computers from home and get work done from home.

Absolutely computer is necessary without computer i guess telecoms companies which provider us network service would not work so no mobile so computer are a must mobile well its just a mean to connect two people but computer well very thing and very company pretty much revolve around it nowadays the work i do just at my office just need a computer and would work fine with no mobile as we can use emails for communication

As you know and heard that we need roti kapada aur makan for life. But now this is changed. We can into it mobile, computer and bike. These are the needs of new geneation. One can have it according to their affodability. I can say mobile is almost must for all. students needs comp. looking to their wide range of subjects. Bike is sometime necessity and oftenly as status symbol.

Computer as a necessity isn't always applied to people but most would rather have it than not. I agree with those who said that without computers, high end mobile devices will not be developed because most of the programming is done through a computer. In my case, it is necessary because my line of job will not be possible without a computer. :)

Computer now seems a represent of modern life like mobile phone. If someone talk about modern life, computer, mobile phone and car are the most important sign of that. We now work using computer, play using computer and keep in tough with other people using computer. So computer becomes a important thing in our life. Really there are still a lot of people in the world do not lead a life with computer in it. But i think most of them want to have computer and in the near future, it will come true.

Hi sis!! My mom does not know anything about computer and she is fine with it. So I think people who get used to it will be the one who really need for that thing especially people like us who likes to do things and do works with computer!(^^) I admit that we are depending much our lives to this technology but just in case if we are not using it I think we still can survive from it. If we need to compare between computers and mobile, I think mobile phone is suitable and more necessary to everyone. In fact now most of us have smart phone-I don't have one anyway~ For those who do works with computer they will be the one who needs it more than those who just fine with having just mobile phone with them.(^^)

I don't think neither mobile or computer are absolutely necessary in anyone's life, but rather, society and some life habits makes us to think that. 10 or 15 years ago, little people had cell phones and almost none more than one computer per house, if they had a computer to begin with. Most of the times, a mobile phone is just a "toy", for texting and a few calls maybe, but for using internet on it it's just fun, relly nothing I can live without and for sure not a need to have 24/7. Sure, it comes handy in emergencies and against some unexpected plan change to notify friends. Home computers I find them even more irrelevant as a "necessity", but rather they're more like a distraction and for fun only, but rarely for something really important (games, music and Facebook don't qualify as "necessary" for me at least). Of course, the exception is when you have a job that depends on it.

Hi SR Its true that it is too hard to live without mobile. It has became necessary in our life. We can not say the same thing for the computer because we can still manage without computer.. But still computer is the important thing for today's life. And everybody should have a computer at their home because it can be useful in many many ways.

Although computers are the normal these days. I do believe that people could live a normal life without all this technology. It was done before air could be done again. I like the technology because of the convenience. It is nice to be able to keep in touch with friends and family with mobile phones. And computers as well. Now, if you look at the world today, computers are all over. Computers are in everything we do today. Even in mobile phones. It is a way of life now, but we could live without them if needed.

For people like us computer is a must. We mylottians cannot manage without internet, computer. For people who do not know using computer --computer is not necessary.

some of computer/notebook today is cheaper than a mobile phone, so i think the price is not a problem here. I think the different between mobile phone and computer is their purpose. People who buy computer/notebook is usually do office work, like writing, spreadsheet, etc.. while people in the village usually work as farmer or similar, where they don't really need computer, but they still need to communicate, that's why i think people in the village own a mobile but not a computer.

sureka, computer is also necessary like mobiles, but some people don't have the ability to buy it due to the cost. Mobiles are available with low cost so they can buy it easily, now a days most of the remote villages also having browsing centers, people going their to access internet.

The term "necessary" is probably a little too strong, because like many people of my age I spent the majority of my life in a society were both computers and mobiles were virtually unknown. However, both mobiles and computers are now an integral part of life and I would not be without either by choice. As you rightly point out a mobile is a very useful item and keeps you in constant contact with friends, family or work colleagues. A computer is every bit as useful since email and the internet supply contact with both people and information at a level previously unknown. The addition of software serves as a great aid for work related tasks via Excel or Word, and entertainment in the form of music and the ability to play films etcetera. I would certainly agree with the term "necessary" in order to appreciate the full benefits of modern life.

i think mobile phones are useful in different situations but if i can choos probably i will choose computer as more useful during your life also because you must consider how much things we can do with a pc and normally not really available or limited on mobile phones!!

Modern technology, indeed is very useful to increase our level of life, and helps us to get in touch with all our relatives and beloved ones, also, it has become a "necessity" in the business world. Yet, I wouldn´t call them necessary for life, I think that the only things that are really necessary for life, is the love of our friends and family, relying too much on technology, although it makes people more "reachable", also tends to make relations more cold. But you are right, in order to keep in touch with our family, and get in contact with them in any situation, mobile is far more useful than computer.

For my immediate family, computers are far more important then mobile. Each of us has at least 2 computers, and at max (being myself) I have 5 computers. However, only 2/3rds of the people in my family even have mobile, and half of the people who have mobile, don't regularly use it... it more stays turned off in their car or purse, only used for emergencies and things. I, do not have a cellular telephone. The only thing I do have, is an itouch, which is really just a computer so small that it fits in my pocket. The price of those (the new ones, that even do photos and videos etc) are only about $199. Now that's a computer that's cheap and easy.

Of course,computer is very important for all computer users just like mobile is for mobile users.People know how to operate mobile-phone because its a lot easier plus you can see it's marketing out there.And we cannot mobile-phone with computer.It sounds like comparing driving a car or a bike with flying a plane or a helicopter.. Unlike mobile-phones,one has to undergo through a certain computer courses to know the basics of computers and the Internet and once know how to use it it becomes your daily need.However,the day is not that long when every educated Indian will know how to operate computer and use the Internet to make things easily and rapidly done.

It depends in every person. I think we can all live without computers and mobile phones. Our ancestors have lived without all of it, why can't we, right? So it's just that we were so used to having these things that we THINK we won't be able to live without it but actually, we can. The food is what we certainly can't live without.
