Yes I know and already under my expectation .....
This happen because:
1. International price too high be handle by our government
2. Our country not fuel exporter anymore, it already importer
3. Indonesian citizen consumed fuel too much. Think about it, just 50 meter a lot of people in Indonesia prefer to use motorcycle rather than walk. If just one person it not gonna give any effect but if 1.000.0000 people do same thing everyday, it's burden to our government.
I believe, it price for being consumptive.

okay, we agree that the world fuel price is so high
but i think why the government did not make many policy for preventing too much corruption in every outcome of government??
can you imagine the corruption was done by many government officer maybe can reach a half from the fee for "subsidi of BBM"??
i think the government maybe can make the policy for increasing BBM price for the luxury cars..
when you had a luxury car, you must be rich..
so why the government did not make the first things for the rich man??

Corruption is out of topic actually but I'll try to answer your question
Government already done his worked to reduced corruption (even not work / succeed properly) but problem is when legitimate government try to reduced corruption, it always opposed by legislative (DPR). Government will never done their job properly if they always disturb by other institution.
Back on BBM
Just luxury cars ....?
Oh common, luxury cars only 5% (maybe less), the rest on public transportation, distribution transport and private transportation (car non luxury (5%) and motorcycle (more than 50%)).
People who own car (luxury or not) realized they consumed high fuel, so they use their vehicle wisely. But people who own motorcycle not wise. Most of them use their vehicle for unnecessary thing and this WILL consumed fuel higher than other transportation. Just like I told you before, for 50 meters they use motorcycle .... that definitely not wise .....

I think high fuel price is inevitable as time goes on. Political turbulence of the oil producing countries and the scarcity of the commodity itself will make sure the price remain high in the foreseeable future. The increase in selling price in the filling stations will definitely have an effect on almost everything. What the authorities should do is to take measures to cut down on using fuel by providing better public transports. To use other natural ways of generating energies like solar, wind and water as well as biodiesel. This is not a simple process but it has to be done and has to do it quick to ensure stability in the society.

i know
its related with the policy and politics
economy and politics was so related
but can you imagine if the politic policy can influence the society and country economics??
and the policy for increasing the fuel price, will give "disaster" for many people

Yes, I can imagine the effects that an increase in fuel price would have in almost anything. If the finance of a country is good then a subsidy can be provided if it is sustainable to avoid any "disasters". But if the country is not in a good financial position, it surely needs to do something to counter the escalating cost. It is bad that the ordinary people, especially the poor, will be hit the hardest but is there a better way other than not raising the price? Maybe you can say that the authorities should change their way of doing things so that the whole system can be more transparent and efficient, and thus, to minimize the wastage of public funds, and with that savings, help can be provided to the people who need it. But for that to happen, reforms are needed. The whole political and economical structures, the systems all need to be revised to streamline to get rid of the blood suckers. It will take time and determination to achieve that. At the meantime, the authorities can only work with what they are having at their hands. Something must be done, even if it is a painful one.

If this happen, the poor people will be more poor, and the rich people will be more rich, it's not fair!!
