Ideas for a bridal shower

I have never thrown a bridal shower before, and my sister is getting married. I am the maid-of-honor so I need ideas on how to throw a kick butt bridal shower. Also bachelorette party ideas would be great too. We don't drink, and she has a couple underage "bridal party" members. So what do you think would be good ideas for a bachelorette party?
