I just won't believe that my friend told me that he got scammed again from craigslist, where he bought a blackberry and that is not functional. When he met his seller at some public place, he said that he already tested the phone, and it was fine then. After he brought home that phone just indicated low battery, then he recharge the battery to full - bar. That is where problem begin. He restart the phone again, it only stuck on the logo screen, and never be able to proceed to the menu screen. Later, he brought the phone to one of the Verizon branch, and the store staff told him that he couldn't do anything or be able to fix the phone. The best thing my friend can do just send it back to the manufacturer, and they can tweak the software problem embedded within the phone.
I told my friend, craigslist is full of scammers, and he should know better than this. I would avoid to trade or deal business in craigslist.

Given all of the stories that I have heard about Craigslist, it is most certainly a place that I would not really do any business with, for any reason whatsoever. They just seem rather to be lax about what is put on there and there is a lot of frauds right on that website. It is really a muddled mess. Of course, if I was someone who would want to honestly sell something, Craigslist might be the last place I would want to sell it.
Of course, one would think that if your friend got burned once, he would not have tried a second time. Once someone defrauds me once in one area, it is on my list that is ruined for life, where I never return for, for the rest of my life. Craigslist has gotten a rather sorrid reputation in recent history and it really is not something that is completely unearned. I would also advise to stay far away from Craigslist without it making some serious reforms.
