You ever stop for a minute and think about the way things are going in your life right now? Then you think if I knew then what I know now would things be any different?
Like when I was in the Marine Corp, now I think if I knew then what I know now I would have stayed in, then I wouldn't be so worried about my job. Another thing is after I left the Marine Corp I started working as a cook and got good at it. Then I got tired of it after 15 years, but again, if I knew then what I know now I would have stuck it out. Then maybe I would be in better shape financially.
So, if you knew then what you know now then what?

My brother, If you stayed you could of been killed by now. You see you are rich right now because you had LIFE! During all the years you had some fun, kids maybe.Just think of the gift you are given each and everyday. Yes its hard but its worth just to experence what Love feels like, God is Love. Its not too late to get more education. You still are one of The FEW GOOD MEN! Keep on livin!

Yeah, I know I'm rich. I have everything that a man needs. I have a great wife that stands behind me 110%. I have a good home and a head full of useless knowledge. What more could you ask for?

I too, often think back to those life changing decisions of my youth. However I never feel that I made any mistakes even tho it seems at this time, that I might have made millions. I firmly believe that we do what we have to! Although we do have free will, we are a part of the Grande Design, and our free will is unlimited as long as we stay within the plan. This belief is based on a conviction that there are is no such things as luck, happenstance, or chance.

Wow, that was really deep and even though in some instances I agree I still believe that we live our life as we choose. I also believe that free will is the grande design.

Oh, yes. I would have taken more time to find the right house in the right place instead of feeling rushed by a real estate agent. I would have done a few other things differently, too, like getting my car repaired instead of buying another one. It would have saved me several thousand dollars.

I don't know anything about buying houses and I'm happy about my car. But sometimes things just fall into place.

Well, where we are now is mostly the result of our actions in the past. Both the choices we make or don't make will somehow dictate our future. Once in a while I dwell into the what ifs in life. I think it's not entirely a bad thing to do. It's just like assessing where you are in life now and learning from those "what ifs" to help us make better decisions. But I think we need to realize that even if we had made a different choice in the past, there's no assurance that we'll be living our life today the way we want it to be.

Oh yes, I've learned to cope with it. I've done so all my life and will continue to do so. But its good to know that someone else understands how I feel.

Well, if we could have known then what we know now, our lives would not be what they are today. I am sure looking back that many of us would change things about our lives if we could. But then where would we really be? For me, I look back and know there are things I wish I could truly change, but then I know I would not be married to my wonderful husband. It would have been nice to have a Full growing money making Business by now, being Financially successful, but this continues to be a Goal I am working towards. Do I have regrets? Sometimes, but I know God has me where I am at for a reason even if I am not always where I want to be.

i guess so. i have had my share of these moments, really and i'd say that sometimes we really have to take that risk. otherwise all of us would probably be in shambles than we are right now. no life is too perfect, and if i know that before, i guess i would have yearn more! ha ha
i know i have made silly decisions before... i have had my share of just leaving work knowing i can get better things in other company only to find out the best is a monster... and i had to just leave otherwise i'd lose my mind! ha ha i guess its part of life... so we should think more than twice before we do or decide on things, because we could never get that back.

Regrets comes at the end. Yes, if we knew then that it will happen maybe we will not continue what we are doing and change plan. But life isn't like that. It is a matter of taking risks. We to deal with it and live our life the way we made our decisions.

Yeah! Regrets that what we call them.:( If I know that my job would matter a lot to other people, get the blame for the things not done to them even if it is not your fault and not to be properly compensated for that, I would probably chosen a different career path. But this is where I am today and I have to make the most of it. Life is hard and will always be, there is not easy way to live. So what I do is keep that positive attitude. We cannot turn back the time and even if we can, we will never be sure what our decisions will be. Decisions were made because that was what the situation demands. Now the situation is different and we have other priorities. I know it is also good to look back and analyze how our lives turned to be this way but we also have to live the present time. We have to adapt to whatever changes life will bring us to survive. Let's keep fighting for our lives ponyboy! :D

Sometimes the choices we make dictate the life we live. And sometimes looking back is a good thing. Because these are the things that made us what we are today.
