Gee, um...how can I say this. Despite they are no longer working I could tell you what is going on:
CM Punk: He's feuding against Chris Jericho & they are settling this at Wrestlemania 28, with Punk putting the WWE Championship on the line.
Wade Barrett: He is illegitimately injured, from hurting his elbow after he was toss out by Santino Marella, and take a nasty cushion for Dolph Ziggler, who was thrown by Big Show during the battle royal. Barrett is expectantly returning by either May, June, or July. Also, Wade is off from twitter, until he recovers, or he is going to be a major jerk, per orders of the WWE management.
David Otunga: He's John Laurinaitis' legal adviser, team captain for team Johnny, and still remains as Jennifer Hudson's fiancee, until later on this year. He is also considering the legal adviser for the WWE Universe on twitter, if only they are supporting Team Johnny for Wrestlemania and if you want him to follow you, you have to change your twitter icon photo of him. Also, David has gone nuts, because this past week on RAW, he comes out with John Laurinaitis, wearing a jacket, and doing some pose. Because what he did, he cause a trend on twitter, which it was him, Wade Barrett, and former WWE Superstar, Chris Masters. I can't wait to see how Wade is going to react to how he was trending on twitter, because of David.
Justin Gabriel: He has been bouncing between NXT, Superstars, and Smackdown, on a win/lose streak. He beat Curt Hawkins this week on NXT, last week on Superstars he lost to Hunico, the week before, I believe he beat his punching bag, Heath Slater, and the week before that, he beat Drew McIntyre on Smackdown. No one knows if he is going to be part of Team Teddy.
Heath Slater: He wins a few matches on Superstars, but against Justin Gabriel, he loses badly. That is been the way since Gabriel beat Slater for the FCW Heavyweight title, almost three years ago.
Michael McGillicutty: I haven't seen him in a while. I only been seeing him in the WWE YouTube Show, WWE Inbox.
Mason Ryan: I haven't seen him either.
Husky Harris: I heard that he was seen in FCW, maybe working with his brother, and I heard that he lost weight. WWE might have plans for him to return.
Skip Sheffield: I heard that he was working at house shows for a while under his new name, Ryback, but who knows when he is returning.
Darren Young: He ends up doing NXT as a rookie again, despite that he is already a WWE Superstar. Last thing I heard, he was with Titus O'Neal & feuding against the Usos.
Ezekiel Jackson: The last time I saw him, he was beaten by David Otunga.
I don't know what else I am missing, but that is all of what I am saying. Sadly WWE is known as being morons for wasting talent.

Sadly, Justin Gabriel is having really awesome matches on Superstars and NXT that the vast majority of the WWE fan base won't ever see. Most of them are against Heath Slater. David Otunga's services as a lawyer are available on Twitter. Mason Ryan is on and off on Superstars for the vast majority of the time. I know he's shown up, but I've blocked most of his matches right out of my mind. If he ever has a match with Jinder Mahal, a black hole will form above the ring due to the massive amount of awfulness right in the ring.
Michael McGillicutty is finally, finally showing that he is in fact the son of Mr. Perfect and having some halfway decent matches, to even a couple of good matches. Of course one of them was against Tyson Kidd, who can have a good match with a rotting broomstick, and Kidd has had some of the greatest matches that the vast majority of the WWE fanbase will never see. Darren Young is on NXT Season 5, forever and ever until the end of time. Husky Harris is back down to Florida Championship Wrestling(WWE's developmental territory), and one half of their tag team champions with his brother, Bo Rotundo. Skip Sheffield has been working WWE house shows and dark matches since about December as Ryback and he might very well be brought back on TV after Wrestlemania.
Sadly, most of these guys were brought up to the main roster too soon and then they were the one's blamed when they didn't connect with the fans and they were green as Kermit the Frog, they were branded as being in the nexus(no pun intended) that is NXT/Superstars land. Of course the more I think about it, the more I think that ECW never should have been cancelled, as half of these guys who are on the road to nowhere would have had a purpose on that brand. But that's beside the point.

others became Jobbers, Others are on NXT, others are wrestling in superstars, I think the reason why some wrestlers stay in wwe even if they were irrelavant, its the fact wwe pays well. so yeah even if they dont wrestle at all, as long as they were under contract they were being paid.
well some of them became relevant though. wwe needs a 3rd main show, I mean people are not even aware that there are shows such as superstars and NXT.
