Have you been asked to give your opinion in a questionnaire? What was it about?

Once I have been asked to give my opinion in a questionnaire about the quality of the lecturer's performing in the course. This questionnaire is given by Dean's office. We are asked to give our opinions because they will help our college to improve the quality of teaching. I thought the lecturer on that course was careful thinking and he had a good theoretical basis. But he wasn't a good speaker. He spoke in a low voice so my classmates who sit in the back of the class couldn't hear what he said. And he lectured in a monotonous way so we were not very interested in the course. Finally I wrote what I thought on the questionnaire. I felt sorry to that lecturer but I thought it was a good way to improve the quality of lessons in my college. And it was my responsibility to wrote what I really thought on that questionnaire.

Its good that you were brave enough to be honest because a lot of people arent. These questonnaires are designed to help improve services so if people dont put the honest answers improvements will never be made.

I bet that the college appreaciated it aswell thats why they put these questonnaires out to get infomation that can help them, but were the other people as honest as you were?.

Yes, I think so too. That is why I made the decision. We need to improve lecture quality. :)

Yes, I have participated in several of them but unfortunately I usually get bored very fast when anwering them especially if the questionnaire is quite long. I prefer a questionnaire with few questions and not very lengthy answers to choose from.

Yes, I hate lengthy answers too. Can they just design the questionnaires a little more short ? :)

I have been asked to fill in questionnaires about cultures, university rules, campus attire and many more. Most of the time when people pass me a questionnaire I would help them to answer as it is not really that hard and you are able to help people with their research or study. At times, these questionnaire may just bring something good for the society.
