Sorry for this random rant, fellow myLotters. But I used to be pissed when our maid or any other people would said that I do have a lot of money. Yes, I have a money but it doesn't mean I'm the richest people in town.
The main reason that I hate it when they would said that I have a lot of money is the fact that they will ask for a share, I'm not being selfish, but I just hate it. In this era, when people thought that you do have money they might take advantage of you and They will just fool you because of money.
Some people work for money but I want my money work for me. People thought that money is the most important in this world.

Yeah. I hate people asked me the same. My husband is a foreigner and they keep on asking me how much money do we have and what's our monthly budget! It's feels like.. what?! It is none of your business! lol and sometimes they take advantage of me coz they assume that I have lots of money because I am with a foreign guy.

A friend of mine's boyfriend was a foreigner but it never came into my mind that she do have a lot of money. I think those kind of people who think that we have a lot of money is so dependent about money. I feel so sorry for those person.

People like to express things in comparison to their experiences or lifestyle. If they are saying this, then it must mean that you are wealthier than them. It must mean that you do have more money than average working people. Anyway, it is just right to dislike people who take advantage of whoever when they see the chance. Money can make a lot of difference in any person's life, but it still depends on how you handle it and not how it handles you.

Nobody ever thought I was rich except once in middle school. A false rumor was spread about how much money my father made. Some other kids came to me asking about were talking more friendly toward them than usual. If I had of lied and said the rumor was true, I'd probably have been very popular. I'm kind of glad that I didn't.
Even if I did have that kind of money though I'd be like one of those low profile rich people. Like those people you some times hear are loaded but yet they live in a regular little house and drive a cheap mini van.

Should be " Some other kids who came to me asking about it were talking more friendly toward me than usual"
I really should waked up before typing things.

And there are times when people don't even consider that even if we do have a significant amount of money, it doesn't mean that we don't have bills to pay. And they also don't think that we might be saving that money for important things - the college education of our kids, emergency funds, and such.

I'm just smiling upon reading how you express yourself when people are considering you as one with a lot of money. If that's the case, I think that there might also be some advantages. Like for example, if you have a program or business that you are doing, it might be easier for you to convince them to join you since they perceive you as with lots of money. Those who are interested will join you if they also want to have a lot of money. It works in both ways. I just hope you don't hate it the way hate is being defined, but be happy, knowing that God is good to you, blessing you with money. I admire you for making your money work for you and not you working for money.

The truth is that I don't have a lot of money. I have a money but it is not a lot. I have a money that is enough for me to spare and enough for me to live.
I'm thankful that I have a money, but it's getting into my nerves that our maid would always say that I have a lot of money.

Here, many people think that rich people should share their money with others. they like to lend money from rich people while do not pay it back as they think the rich one will not lack of money.
I really hate that kind of people, though i am not rich.
rich is not a crime, many people become rich through hard work, so their money is also hard-earned. While the poor use this way to get other's money. there is no differences between theft and them.
to rich people do some good or not is their own choices not the responsibility.

Definitely! How I wish those people will stop that kind of mentality that just because we have a money it doesn't mean that we have to spend it away.
Now I do believe why the poor gets poorer and the rich gets richer. It's because the rich knows how to invest their money.

Money lets you know who your real friends are. The difficult part is being able to identify your true friends.
Good for you for working hard. you've earned your money. Tell the money grabbers to get lost. they are not true friends and you will not miss them.
