I suggest that you'll subscribe to Bo Sanchez letters and learn from him. I think you know him. Aside from preaching the word of the lord, he is also a great entrepreneur and is willing to teach those who are willing to learn. He also give seminars and money back guarantee if you think you failed. :)

I think knowing the basics in investing in stocks isn't really difficult. There are lots of articles, books and seminars that deals in this subject matter. One thing however that seems to be a bit difficult for first-time investors is actually buying these stocks. We need to have a good broker to do this for us. And most of the time, stocks of the big listed companies are really hard to get if we're "small" players in the market. I mean, some conglomerates or the very rich people seem to get hold of the available stocks especially if it's an initial public offering (IPO).

Yeah. Thanks for your respond. My husband really keep on telling me to invest on stock market here in Philippines. He has stocks in his country (USA) and he said he will watch it for me. I want him to teach me coz I am interested also. I told him that I just don't want to spend or invest my money on stocks without any knowledge about it.

hi there! do you like buying stocks to INVEST or TRADE in the stock market? Coz there's a big difference. If you want a no hassle type of investing. go to a mutual fund. there's lot of companies who are offering 5k initial investment. and its just pure mutual fund. these companies will be the one who will buy and grow ur money but of cors put in under EQUITY (aka stocks). Now if you are a sigurista and moderate type of investor and just like to save for thefuture, then you can put ur money (5k) investment under balanced fund. (its a combination of stocks and bonds)... i have recently invested under balanced fund (in FAMI)and im happy bec i know my money would work for me...
