I am a person with disability and I am really getting tired in trying to get a job.I don't understand why I am getting a refuse only because of my disability why nobody can see behind it and hire the man.Ok let's say that I am not same well prepared as other worker but I am enthusiast and I really want to learn.I know that I am at the beginning of my career that why I am asking for a lower salary than others because right know money aren't interesting for me all I want is to learn and develop myself.
Who knows maybe I will be able to find a person who would like to teach me and give me a job because I really need it.
I am ready to learn anything and do anything as a worker I don't have any claims
What do you think about the difficulty in finding a job if you are a person with a disability?

I wonder if it's your disability. Fact is many people are tired of trying and being refused in getting a job. So is my nearly 22 year old daughter. There are always excuses why not or better.. they seldom tell the reason. She is too high educated or too creative or a woman or ..
I have diabilities too but if I would not tell nobody would probalby know or notice. I know I work way harder as others, are more willing and I won't stay home if I don't feel well. Still I can't find a job either, or because I am too old, too much experiences, too expensive, I have children (what will you do if they get sick?), etc etc. There is always an excuse.
I think the fact over here is they want 14 or 16 years old, who are cheap, and have years of experiences, who they can train to do it their way, (even if they ask to give fresh input) and surely not someone who is more intelligent as the others or the manger/boss is.
My advice to you is: go for what you really like to do! Since only then you can show what you can. Also ask to give you a chance for .. time. You can also gather experiences at some volunteer jobs. So go over, ask if someone is willing to teach you, even if it's for free. And for the rest: be focued on what you want, do things you like to do as long as you don't work and gather info where ever you can (internet is a good one too).

You are right! It is perfect for them if you are young and experienced even if they now that is impossible.

I understand your problem , many jobs offer a job only after some interview and questioning and some evaluation center... That's not what I like too.
I tried to get hired 3 times to a job of technical support at some internet providers and they didn't accept me even though I have some experience with private teaching , I learn about computers , and I even know some about how internet works...
I just look for jobs that are simple and don't require any evaluation , they just explaing how things are done , they show me how to do the work and walla , I got accepted. I felt like I won the lottery.
About you , I think you can actually try and search for jobs that require no experience and are ok for disabled persons.
Getting a job is not easy , I know it. Many jobs require experience or good grades and it is hard.
If I was a bussiness man , I would accept every person that can do the job , I would just teach him how to do it and how to behave.

In my home country there is widespread unemployment. It is due to the recession. I remember when I lost my job in 1992 due being made redundant. I tried very hard to get another job but it seemed impossible. The more time that went past made me feel sad that I didn't have a job. I had bought my little cottage in 1991 and it seemed such bad timing not to have a job. Luckily I decided to let out my cottage, get a working holiday visa for Australia and buy an airline ticket around the world. I was able to travel around the world on a fantastic journey that lasted for over one year. I worked in Australia as a children's nanny, a factory packer and a charity collector. My disabled son is four years old and is unable to walk. He is wheelchair bound. He loves the police and wants to be one when he grows up. An employer that discriminates against disabled people is acting against the law in my home country. You deserve the same amount of money as others in the same job. I hope that you will soon find a job. If not I suggest studying and this let me become a primary school teacher. Good luck.

We cant avoid that kind of thinking though theres so many jobless out there even if they are not disabled. though it depends to the kind of job you apply. i do have a co-employee without her 2 legs as she come to work with her wheel chair do it didnt affect her work as shes very hard working and always come to work on time and never been absent. as long as you can speak and write then i dont think its a problem though some company didnt consider that as they think its only a burden instead of getting a complete person.
besides they cant adjust the salary as if they give salary it will be all the same range though with experience is more higher so you cant just say its ok if they will give lower salary and in any position coz they will only think your desperate to get only the job and what they want is person with high potentialnot physically but mentally and those who believe on his capacity that he can do everything like a normal person does with proper training thats why he apply for that job and not because he only want to get the job even with a lower salary. dont worry just try and try and you will get one just prove to them you are worthy. you can also try to have your own business you can start small business if you want. if your in philippines then you can try to start loading station nor foodcart business.

I know it is hard.
In my country it is hard for people without disbilyties to get a decent job, one that doesn't pay that little taht you don't want to take it.
The world has gone wrong, with al those people with power trying to rip-off on those who have less.
I don't know what it's becomeing of it, but I am sure most of us wouldn't like it very much.
