was alive.
Edgar Cayce was known as the "sleeping Prophet." When in a trace, you could ask him anything. He could find answers. He helped millions of people with illnesses and answer some interesting questions such as about the lost city of Atlantis. I remember watching a tv show about him and he helped this woman walk again after she fell off a horse.
He died in 1945. Many people sent him money. So he started a foundation. The Edgar Cayce Association for Research and Enlightenment.
So have you ever wished you had met someone before he or she died? What would you ask that person?
Did you ever hear of Edgar Cayce? Have you ever seen any shows about him or heard of him on the radio or in magazines or newspapers?

Because of this post of yours, I then researched about Edgar Cayce. I was actually amazed of the things he did when he was still alive. He was gifted indeed. How I wish that he is still alive until now. He is a big lost. I haven't heard about him in news. Just now.

Thank you. This is the only time I've been sad I wasn't born before now. Still, the depression and WWII. I think I might still be glad to be born now.

I have friends who are members of the A.R.E., and I have read some of the books that the A.R.E. have printed about the life and times of Edgar Cayce. The A.R.E. is located at Virginia Beach Va.Once when I wanted to improve some hand cream, I read up on Edgar Cayce, and added an ingredient that was recommended. I was very happy with the resulting cream.

That's wonderful that you were able to learn and use some of what you learned for a practical application. So many people read something, think it's nice and never do anything with it. Thanks and take care.

He was an interesting person with great gifts. His son now has the foundation. I have read and heard alot about him. His cases and how he helped people. His aid would write down what he said while in sleeping state. I haven't heard of anyone else like him. I have seen several shows on cable about him.

Several shows? Really?
I'd like to go to the foundation at some point and take some classes.
But I'll probably have to wait until I retire.

He had other abilities when he was awake. He found out his abilities as a child and improved upon them by meditation. Even learning how to meditate from him would have been a great honor. Also learning how to get into the Akashic record would be interesting.

I would like to know more about humanity, how the world begins to change this year and what can I do to evolve.
He was also a giving man, very good person, he helped a lot of people in their spirit's sickness and pain. I think his picture brings peace, I don't know, looking at him can do so to me. :D
Nice subject, I love Cayce.

Yes, he does seem to bring peace just by looking at him. I hadn't really thought of that. That is a good point.
Yes, if we knew where man when wrong, like the first war and could go back to the Akashic record (book, computer, whatever we're calling it this year), it would be interesting to see if we could find ways to stop that war and the ones thereafter.
Thanks and take care.

Of course I've heard of him. He was probably the greatest psychic the world has ever known, officially. All his services, every reading he made, everything he did was for free.
That was the most amazing part about this man. He spent his whole life doing things for others, changing their lives, improving their health, when he could have been making millions off them. He even predicted the depression, and still did not charge a penny, and lived modestly his entire life. His only aim was to help people as much as he could.
He is definitely one of the people I would love to meet, and not just because he could answer just about any question posed. I mean, who wouldn't?

I have never heard of him but he is sure someone that I would want to meet.
There was this woman that I would have like to have met names Victoria Woodhull. She was amazing for her time and was actually the first woman to run for president. It was her psychic ability and her politics mixture that made her amazing to me. I would ask her a ton of nosy questions about her drive and perseverance. I would be curious about her ability too.

I would want to meet her, too.
