So I never really was into cooking meals until about a year ago. I would cook things but it would be like noodles and butters, grilled cheese, bake frozen pizzas things like that. But until I met my boyfriend a year ago i started really cooking meals. Recently I just bought a 4 in 1 grill and I love it. The other night I made burley burgers on it I know most people don't know what that is. What it is, is that you cook a burger, then you cook an egg, toast some bread and put either mayo or mustard on it. On the toasted bread you put the burger, then the egg, and whatever cheese you want and that's a burley burger. Their really yummy. I'm thinking of other meals to cook on it but haven't come up with any. I'm looking for recipes for panini's because you can make those on it as well. It's going to be fun using this grill in the summer time i can make lots. Never enjoyed cooking til now. It's nice to have home cooked meals because I make like garlic mashed potatoes and stuff with it on the reg stove of course. So how long did it take you to learn how to cook and do you enjoy it?

Skills of cooking palatable food is a boon .Trying out new recipes for fun is quite pleasing. Most of us try our hands at ethnic favorites to be cooked. But trying out exotic delicacies occasionally is also very nice.

I love trying out new recipes. I print off a bunch of recipies that i know i'll enjoy eating and just cook them and if i like it i keep it and when i get better at making the food i won't need the recipe anymore. I have to cook some things with instructions still because i'm still learning, but once i get it down packed i can just start throwing things together and cook whatever i want too. But everyone has to start somewhere and so far my boyfriend and family says i have progressed really well in my cooking and they enjoy what i make so that makes me happy :)

That burger sounds tasty, I'm gonna make me one tomorrow :p. I learned to cook when I was really little because my parents were always working and my older brother was useless at cooking so life presented me with the choice of "cook or starve". But it wasn't until I moved by myself that I really began cooking a lot. I kind of enjoy mixing stuff that no one has mixed to see if it would taste good, and I also enjoy eating, so I like cooking. What I dislike about cooking is washing the dishes after the fact. However, I tend to cook something every two days (the day in between I eat sandwiches and microwaveable stuff to avoid angering the spirit of laziness :p). I even take pictures of the strangest combinations I made for my facebook, if they taste good, if they don't I forget I even made it :p.

I have to agree i don't like the clean up after cooking either. But with the 4 in 1 grill i bought it's easy to clean it not to many dishes have to be used you just clean the 2 plates that came with it and that's it simple. I only have alot of dishes to clean if i cook more things and have to use dishes on the stove, that becomes a pain. But can't complain i love cooking and it's healthier if you cook rather then eating out all the time or eating frozen dinner meals because those aren't always healthy.

Cooking has been my passion recently. I love to cook pasta, pizza margherita, bake cookies or cakes. I haven't tried a burger though. i mostly do research on the internet especially the food that I like to cook. I check out the reviews then if there are lots of good comments, I try it out. I also use cookbooks then once I get used to cooking it, that is the time I experiment.

I love to cook, and I love to plate food. I create beautiful, healthy dishes using vegetarian, organic ingredients.
I really don't use recipes except as inspiration, unless the dish is something that is very complicated. I might see a recipe that sounds interesting and then hit the kitchen and work on my own version of the dish--usually without referring back to the original recipe. Often, however, I just head into the kitchen and start working based upon what I have on hand (and, often, what needs used up first).

cooking has come a long way from when our ancestors roasted wild game and local vegetation over an open fire . we've discovered an infinite number of ways to prepare and season food, but the nature of cooking remains same. apply heat to make food taste better. the rest is really just details that can be learned from an inquisitive spirit, creativity, and trial and error
