My friend had two of her girlfriends over and when her husband came home he said, get these b*****s out of here! I work hard all day and I don't want these people sitting here talking about me. My friend is devastated and embarrassed. She says that she has lost all respect for him and can not face her friends anymore. Any advice?

Talking about him? How does he know they are talking about him. Surely the guy is doing something wrong and thinks his wife's friends will try and let her see that he is not treating her right..He is so insecure. I don't think I would live with that kind of person.

After I was finished ripping my husband a new one, I would be making new living arrangements. That is signs of things to come and while she should just apologize for her husbands d-bag behavior, I think she should seriously look into getting away from him. I don't care how bad your claim your day was, that kind of behavior is never ok.

That's straightforward. Regarding people like that, I just try to understand them and try to conform to their line of thinking. If they keep insisting their way, that's when I start using pressure to make them adjust to how things should be.

Who wouldn't feel alienated if you own your house and outsiders start acting like they own it? Can't her friends give some respect? It's hard to be patient to people who abuse you. You run the risk letting them walk all over you so before that happens, contradict now! Even if he was harsh, at least it's not anything physical.

Every time I hear a story like this I am more and more grateful I have my husband.
I feel bad for your friend. I think she deserves someone that will respect her the way she should be respected. I hope her situation gets better. If it doesn't she should walk away.

Oh fancy living with someone like this, I find it hard to understandat what point in life people become like this, personally I think there is an underlying problem and he is just lashing out at the first silly thing, I would hate to be living in that situation. Life is way too short.
