Hollywood's golden years vs. modern actors

By the title I guess you can tell that I am not at all impressed with modern Hollywood. I like to watch old movies and I enjoy looking at the glamor photos of the stars from the 1940's. I am one of the few who can not even watch the oscar's ect. When I see our modern movie stars making out on stage to get whatever attention they can, it reminds me of girls gone wild, rather than a formal event.I would rather see classy people make coherent speeches. I don't see anything to admire anymore.
