How will you compare your high school life with your college life? They say that high school years is the most enjoyable part of our life because you will experience here your first times. I am from the Philippines and i am now in college. When i was in high school, it was only 4 years on that stage of education but this next school year it will now become 5 years befor going to college. What must be the comments of incoming students for this? In our high school years, most specially on our last year, it is now only few months before graduation, when we try to wish that high school will become 5 years so that we could extend the enjoyment in this years. We have really much fun in the school. No, we don't experience the 5 years and now we are in college, struggling for survival to graduate successfuly and have a better life soon? Now, what is your experience on those days? Hope you have a lot of fun to.

I didn't enjoy my high school years very much. In my country it usually take 3 years to finish high school, but I chose a school where we finished high school in 2 years. We only had two years to learn the things that the other students learned in 3 years, so we had lots and lots of homework. I didn't have much time for socializing, I returned from school late in the afternoon and studied the rest of the night, because we had so much homework. I chose that school myself, but today I probably wouldn't have made the same choice, I think that I would have chosen a normal high school instead.
I liked college better than high school. I had much more freedom in college, that is one of the things that I really liked. I also enjoyed meeting people from different parts of the country and even a few people from abroad. When I went to high school all of the other students came from my own area.

Here is a really interesting thing, I actually found my college life to be less stressful for the most part than my high school life. Now granted the work could be a challenge, but it was other things. There seemed to be less petty personal drama that went along with high school as opposed to college. To me, that is really just something that allowed me to really just sit back and focus on my education. Stressful in itself but good.
I think that college in many ways is a very much more advanced and slightly more mature version of high school when you pull back the layers, with a lot of the drama cut out. I think that I enjoyed my college life better, but really both parts of my life int hat sense are over, they have concluded. And it is time to move on. There were also positives and negatives in both, but I would have to say I found college slightly less stressful than high school.

I did not enjoy high school because I was not one of the popular people. College gave me a new beginning where no one knew me. Also, I didn't have to spend all my time in a class room going from class to class, at least not until later on when I had to spend more time in the lab. College was also my fist time away from home, so I had more freedom.

Hi erjnisimon: I have enjoyed both moments in my life. I feel more in control of my choices when I was in college because I was more mature. However, I think that my college years were too fast and I haven't enjoyed that much as in High School were we have our first experiences in different aspects of our lives and things seems to be less complicated.

they say that high school life is more enjoyable than college its because in high school, you know your classmates names and surname unlike college life because we have diff. classmates in every subjects. 5 years in high school is a waste of money and time, it is also very stressfull for the studends and parents alike. more years in education is not the answer to our current problems but the answer is financial literacy. our school did not teach us how to manage money. hope they will realize that teaching our young students about it will help a lot.

Well high school will always be memorable for me I remember all the laughs I had with my friends.. and every time we were together we just always find ways to laugh (I know sounds crazy..) college were like you have to be serious hihi.. but I do enjoy both because I met my hubby when we were in college.....
Omg so more one year to finish high school?uurgghh that sucks I mean not only you have to use more time but as we all know it is expensive to study... well if it is for the sake of the youngsters why not.. as they said “Our young children are our country’s only hope.”

I hated high school while I was in it. My few friends were the only upside because I lived so far away from them that I only got to see them during school. But other than that it was annoying, there were a lot of stereotypical preps who irritated me, I had to put up with a girl who's convinced she's not entirely human, stupid classes, bad teachers, gossip, rumors, and trying not to bash my brain in from all of the stupidity. I was so glad that I could get out of there.
Now I'm in college, and miss almost every bit of high school. (I can do without the bad teachers and stereotypes.)

For me college was a better experience.
I didn't have time to have fun it friend and classmates, because most of my teachers were very strict and I worked very hard. I lived quite far away from school, so every day and night was only about studying (but why?).
The last year was the time though when I wished I could have stayed for one year more - when we finally started acting like a community where every member is important.

Hello! I am also from the Philippines. High school was so much fun but I would say college years are the best! When I was in high school, I was very drawn to studying so I was not able to party that much. It was during college that I was able to have fun in and out of school. College allows everyone to shine and be known. High school is full of immature children who form cliques and alienate other people who they do not think are cool. On the contrary, in college you can hang out with almost anyone be it a short drinking session, field trips or on-the-job training. I bet you will enjoy your college life!

For me college is better. You also get to experience lots of first times, meet new kinds of people, lets say people from different regions or even countries, unlike in highschool where you're limited to meeting people leaving in the same town or province. You can also have friends and it's not only about "survival of the fittest". It's just like in high school, except that you're all now more mature, and older, hahah. Remember the time when your parents say horrible stuff bout highschool life when you've just graduated from grade school? It's the same as that.
College is fun if you make it fun.
