I like to review companies that are innovative, I found some that are bringing us up to speed in ways of identification. Taking a look at biometrics today we have fingerprint swipers, which can be found in laptops, desktops and doors. Authen Tec is a leading fingerprint biometrics company that uses fingerprint sensors to control access to its offices. Forward looking is companies involved in hand geometry and iris scan to voice recognition and behavioral biometrics. One such company is A4Vision it is pioneering 3-D facial imaging technology. It is a sign of things to come in confirming our identity which is even more important now that phones are storing sensitive business and personal data and are acting as digital wallets. Now this is an idea I can really sink my fingers into!
