Everybody has something that they are afraid of. But If we break the reason for fearing down to pieces we realize that it's not logical, it's an emotional issue so it can be resolved. The thing is that we rarely escape the things we fear. Because people concentrate their thoughts so much to keep away the source of fear it really brings it closer.
What do you think ? What do you fear ? What do you do to keep away from it ?

As what other said the greatest enemy is you own fear... hmmm and yes it true that it is hard to conquer it.. I just hope everybody will find their own way..hmmm
Honestly I fear of growing old .....I wanna stay young like this thill I die..even though when I hit 70's I still wanna look like im on my 20's haha... I think EVry woman are the same we wanna feel good about ourselves..
I do exercise and put almost every cream I heard will help you to maintain your youth.. but I dont really do diet.. I eat everything I want.. I always watched my weight though and try to maintain my ideal weight..
I guess I am still young to say these things but who knows maybe when I grow old It might change...
I know what I am afraid of sounds crazy.,.I just think that maybe age is will not be in you if your not thinking about it...

I don't like bees. I guess I am a little afraid of them. I have never been stung by one, and I don't want to get stung by one any time soon. If I see one, then I try to get away from it as soon as possible.

Hi Vertu007,
This is such an interesting post and I have to agree that often the fears are not logical.I also agree that the more we focus on them, the closer and more real they often become.
To illustrate, I have a fear of cockroaches ( yes, I suppose it does sound stupid, lol ) However, its a real fear. It began years ago when I just kind of disliked them and saw them as yukky pests. However, after telling a friend or two about my dislike for them, they became a real part of my entire life. These days,I cannot see one without calling for my dad or someone to kill them.
I also live in an old house and last year it was blisteringly hot with many pests and spiders attempting to come indoors to escape the heat. Instead of the house being infested with fleas or spiders, mine seems to have attratcted a good few roaches :( ..I have been here for years, and its the first time I have seen cockroaches indoors, so I am guessing that I might have 'attracted them' in some weird way with my irrational fears!
As for how I deal with it???? mmm... well, they look like evil little aliens to me, especially when they stare in that odd, unnerving manner.I cannot even eat lobster anymore because of the resemblance :) ...so, I guess I havent really dealt with them properly, but I intend to do so osne day,I Promise :)

Fears are mostly not based on logic but there are sometimes where the fears that we have are going to scarily make a little bit too much sense. There are times where some trauma in our childhoods, like getting locked in a closet, being traumatized by an older sibling or cousin with some animal, or perhaps nearly drowning, can really stir up some insecurities later on our adult lives. It is rather intriguing when that happens.
And there are just many times where conquering our fear is going to be difficult. I think its not bad to be afraid. But really, it is just going to rather horrific is when we are paralyzed by said fears. When our fears are going to keep us from getting the most out of our life, where they are going to keep us from living our life. Granted, there have been fears, that I have had in the past, but I had to grit my teeth and push myself through.
