What's wrong with the movie Ghostrider II?

I can't help but compare the 1st release of Ghost rider to Ghost Rider 2 (Spirit of Vengeance). What do you think?

I thought the first one was so bad that I didn't want to see the second. But you know, I never read the comics, so maybe the movie was meant to be that cheesy and I just didn't get it.

Thank you for your comment! Frankly speaking, the 1st movie package is good when it comes to its story line and action. I might have missed the details on how the comics version was delivered but its not an issue to me, all I can say is that I got bored with 2nd the movie and felt my money wasted..
