I woke up late, I watch a movie last night that makes me laugh. And I woke up in a good mood. Normally when I'm doing house task I listened to music on my iPod and I dock it on the speaker so I can hear it loud. This time I did not choose my favorite playlist which is purely for dancing. I play all songs mixed with love songs, rap, dance, 80's,90's etc. Until I heard a love song played that make me sad, it reminds me something in the past that I can't control my self but to cry. I like to listened to love songs but sometimes I hate it, when it reminds me of something that makes me feel sad and lonely.

I also like listening to songs in radio and there are lots of FM stations available in our places that has very good songs. I also think that some songs will make us cry while some others make us happy.

If it makes me feel sad & lonely,I wouldn't listen to it & change that song with one that has a happier vibration.Songs with a sad vibration drains my energy & I just might bring something similar to that in my reality because songs tend to make us feel its essence.

I like a mix of music also. There are definately days I am not in the mood to hear any love songs. They can be sad and depressing. I enjoy more upbeat, motivating music.

Love songs... They are not only for people in love... "Love" is not something that is only shared between boyfriends & girlfriends or husbands & wives... I feel one should expand the definition of love to include any positive feelings, affection or adoration towards life... :) Having said that, I think that love songs are welcome any time one is feeling happy, feeling content & feeling relaxed.. :) I listen to love songs whenever I am feeling good.. feeling that feeling that all is right with the world...

Much like all music, love songs can tend to be quite the mixed bag to say the very least to me. And sadly a lot of the times, there is a rather mediocre to bad mixture that cancels out the good. I think the problem is that for me, it does rather seem there are just going to be that love songs tend to be a bit too angsty a lot of the times or barring that, if you've heard one of them, then you've heard most of them. Of course, that's just the repetitive nature of many genres of music. Where there is so much ground that has been burned through and done, that it really does become tiring. Then again, never been a huge fan of love songs, as there tends to be rather frustrating, often times angsty, other times kind of creepy if you really listen to the lyrics. And sometimes just so sugary sweet that it is rather disturbing in another way.

There are different kind of love songs. There are happy love songs, and the sad ones. Maybe the one that you listened to are sad love songs, those that remind you of a sad past. Try listen to love songs that are happy in mood.

That's what love songs do, to remind you that once upon a time in a far away country, there lived a beautiful woman, waiting for her prince to come. Then one day, her prince arrived. They had romantic and wonderful days together. Then something happened that they must part away, probably for a long time. The prince charming never came and so the wonderful woman get married to another guy. Their theme song was played one day and reminds her of the good old days that she wish were never gone. Love songs oh love songs for you. But surely, in those good days, you would not care to hear, "If I sing you a love song, will you always remember?" Have a great day lyn. Just having fun.

There are times when I too hate love songs. I listen to my ipod or have my itunes playing while I clean the house and I love to dance around it helps me burn some calories while I do the things i need to do around the house. If i have a song that would remind me of the past I would quickly change it before it dampens my mood.

Push delete! Is that the way it works? I don't own an IPod.Every song I know has a memory attached to it so I Know Exactly how you feel. But I'm a dinosaur. All my songs are on records , cassette tapes and a few CD's. So I can control what I hear. These days I listen through a cable music channel, but even then if they Start a song that I don't Need to hear , I change the channel. Hang in there. And if that song hurts you That much, get rid of it!

Yeah, most of us have our favorite love songs that we may considered have been a part of our lives. Either happy or sad experienced that happened and listening to them will bring back the memories that we never forgot. It helps us reminisces those events. I'm sorry that you have not controlled yourself from crying when you heard that love song.

I don't like listening to lovesongs most of the time especially when I am sad. I would rather listen to slow rock particularly, QUEEN, SCORPIONS or country music, western rock music and alternatives.

When you hear that particular music, you will really feel sad because it part of your past. I would like to suggest that you delete that in your ipod my friend so that you will not hear it again. It is much better if you do it that way.

Yeah, sometimes, when my playlist goes on shuffle, a love song comes up, then it reminds me of the memories of the past that i don't want to remember. The same goes for me. :)

I like listening to love songs, they are good for the heart. If it made you cry, good for you. Sometimes we just have to cry, to release all the pent up hurts we have inside. It helps!

I enjoy love songs when I'm in a good place mentally/emotionally. Otherwise they can make me feel worse, especially if I'm having problems in my romantic relationship.

Funny you should post this discussion today because just today I went through the music I have on my iTunes & I removed all the sappy love songs from it. To me they are just a bunch of words that just don't ring true, at least not all the time or the kind that last forever. Now all I have is my dance music on there. So much better.

I lie to listen all types of songs. When i am in a good mood i like to listen fast beat songs. When i am in bad mood i like to listen slow songs, melody songs and sad songs. But some people suggested me that if we are in sad mood we should not listen sad songs. That will yield us to get more sad.And some times i like to listen love songs. But not most of the times.
