Kony 2012. what about it?

there's this 30-minute video spreading throughout the internet talking about joseph kony, his evil deeds, and about how the organization (which made the video) wants to involve the people in their cause of stopping kony. the video seems to be effective since it already has 70million+ hits on youtube, trends on twitter, and is being discussed in various forms of media. i do not really know joseph kony before this video and i was also not that familiar with the organization Invisible children. Have you guys participated in their cause like buying their kits and helping raise awareness?

Hello. I did not buy any kits, but I do believe in this cause. Its important that we focus, as a global community, on taking down these people who continue to exploit others.

I have donated a lot of time and money to this cause throughout the last few years. There is a US website called crowdtap that has them as a charity if you wish. I think we need to raise awareness of what is really going on around the world, not just Africa but also in Saudi Arabia etc with human rights violations and Syria etc.
Children should be loved, not abused/killed.
