They actually didn't let me hold her right away, seeing as I needed some help first according to the doctor, but when they finally let me, I'm pretty sure my heart skipped a beat or two. She was early and it was scary that she was, but I was so thrilled she was finally with us!

I was so thrilled! We went through a miscarriage before our first daughter so we were so relieved when everything was okay with our baby girl. =) With all three of my kids it was that same happiness.

like many, the feeling was simply indescribable. when i saw my first born, i was shocked initially as he looked so dark, even more so with blood matted on him, and his hair was so curly. hahaha those were my first words, he's so dark. the nurses all laughed. i was so happy but worried too as he was a premature baby. and i couldn't even hold him as he had to be brought to the icu to be observed. for my sec child, hahaha she came to this world so fast my husband didn't even have time to complete the admission process lol he stopped halfway to have a look lol i managed to hold her for a while and it felt so good having a baby in my arms. but too soon, she had to be put to her little bed. both their deliveries are really special as i'm sure it is for all mothers. there is always something that makes their delivery special i feel.

My daughter was born two years ago, but I still remember it like it was yesterday. As soon as she came out, I started crying and it took a while for me to be able to stop. It was like an overwhelming rush of emotion. I am pregnant again now and due in August. I cannot wait to experience those first moments again.

I was in the military and lost two miscarriages before having my first baby girl. I lauugh about it all the time as she was born on labor day! She was very tiny only weighed 6lbs 10oz. Soon as I got out of the hospital at Andrews AFB naturally the General and his wife wanted to see Elizabeth. Each baby I had was really memorable for me. I was pregnant 13 times and my body would not respond well to carrying. I lost 2 sets of twins. My last baby my son he is now 22 and we are still as close as the day he was born. I had to have an emergency c-section and he was totally blue. So I was out and when I came out of anesthesia I naturally wanted to see my baby. Some nurse stuck a picture in my face. That was the wrong thing to do. I wanted to see him. So I told my husband to go get a wheelchair and take me to see my son. The nurses were trying to get me to lay down, and my husband finally said she won't give up til you take her to see him. So wires, IV's and pole, all went on my way to NICU. he was gorgeous. I had forwarned my doctor there was something wrong and he thought I was proceeding normally. I was having like a burning pain and later it was the placenta tearing away from the wall of my uterus So once I was examined it was coming before my baby. So I had to be sure he was doing well. he was born on Dec 18 so I named him Nicholas. Each pregnancy was special to me as I was so easy to miscarry.
