So I am a very shy guy when it comes to asking girls out .I have had two or three (last one doesnt really count) girlfriends. So I just asked this girl out and she said she was engaged lol and smiled/laughed nicely. So what I am wondering is why do I feel the urge to go out and find more girls to ask out? Usually wouldn't guys be hit by rejection?

The guys I know are never phased by rejection. It only gives them more incentive to keep trying. I have a guy friend that will go to bars and go up to random girls and talk to them, if he gets rejected, he moves on to the next one like it never happened. You just need to put yourself out there and don't worry about a girl you hardly know rejecting you. There's billions of females out there (but realistically, maybe only a couple million that would even have things in common with you or you like at all).

Yeah it is weird cause a few months ago I asked a girl out and she hesitated like a lot, and finally gave me her number. And I didnt call her cause I knew she didnt want me to. But after that I was really thrown off my mojo ya know, and now its so different. I think in a couple weeks I will be one of those guys who you mentioned up there ^^^ lol. Its so strange cause I used to be too damn scared to even talk to a girl.

Maybe because you know the reason she said no wasn't something about you or against you. She said she was engaged thats not something you can control or do anything about. Its a good thing you want to try again and find another girl to ask out. Good luck.

Won't you learn something when you're rejected? One girl is different from another. Some doesn't like to be approach straight one and you need to know that kind of girl first. Some want a direct confession and some love romantic type. I think it's the same with guys.
